Don’t buy Piece of crap
Refurbish printer wasn't worth it I thought I couldn't go wrong with purchasing a refurbished brothers printer.... I was wrong. Got it, tried to connect and got an error message "printer unable 01" and ended up on Brother chat, then had to call directly to their Tech support, only to be told that the laser printer had to be returned. So much for trying to save money.
Printer is always offline Printer disconnect from wi-fi to much and never ready to print . I always have to wake it up manually., very annoying. Print well if you can get it started, I well never buy a print without a USB hard wire connection again.
Dud! Purchased in March 201919 dead by September 2019......just stopped working ! Never again!
Printer yes, wireless no I tried all the tips/settings I could find for sleep and deep sleep but it keeps going offline. For one period after a bunch of fiddling I was able to print to it from 2 computers, an iPhone and an iPad but by the next day nothing could reach it. Rebooting it brought it back online but only for so long. I have a battery powered doorbell that never drops off my network. I have a wired thermostat that never drops off the network. JUST BLACK & WHITE I wish it had been made more clear to me that this printer is incapable of color printing. I'm so upset that it was this expensive and can't even print in color. What a joke!
Prints well, but came with nearly-dead cartridge I like the printer itself and would recommend it, but my order came with a cartridge that is requesting replacement after only a few pages and reads as almost empty in the software. Very disappointing!
New Cartridges Don't Work Works fine but every other new cartridge is not usable because is says that the cartridge is empty when it's brand new. I thought it was the el cheapo cartridges I got, but brand name cartridges do the same thing.
