If you're using a mac, it may not find the printer 90% of the time When I'm trying to print over the wireless network, it's perpetually looking for printer. I've gone through all troubleshooting on brother website, everything's up and running, but it just won't respond to print commands. Only way to get it to work is to shut off and on, every time you need a print job. Infuriating. It will get your blood pressure up and running if that's what you need.
Would not buy again. Stopped working after 5 months with minimal usuage. Will not power ON. Tried all of Brothers trouble shooting steps. None worked.
Workhorse of a printer that lasts years Great workhorse printer! Have used this line of Brother printers for years. They last forever and are extremely Low maintenance.

DO NOT BUY THE BUNDLE This printer itself is great. However, I bought the bundle package and the extra toner cartridges DO NOT WORK. You have to use Brother toner cartridges, which this does not say ANYWHERE in the description of the printer itself. I firmly believe this is false advertising and they should remove this as a bundle package. Brother is forcing you to pay high dollar for their toner cartridges, which is just wrong.
Stressful printer to own This printer does a good job when it works......when it works. I have owned this printer for over 6 months now and I cannot honestly recommend it. Often when left for more than an hour unattended it will enter sleep mode and good luck getting it back to working . Only solution is to unplug, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in. Works... when it wants to PROS: Nice print quality, and does it lightning-fast. CONS: Good luck connecting to this printer without a cord (and there isn't one included)- Almost impossible to set up and use with both my computers (one laptop, one desktop), problems connecting the printer to the internet, and pain-in-the-butt controls to boot.
