Failed after little use Was great while it lasted. I think we printed less than 50 pages over a couple of months and then it stopped working. We were unable to troubleshoot successfully.
Horrible to setup to your home network! Not sure if the previous reviews on easy setup are fake reviews but this was painful to set up! I purchased in November and 5 months later it's still not setup. I've made several calls to the Brother Help Desk and well they were less then helpful. When I asked tech support if it should be this difficult he responded by, "this is the easiest way" (45 minutes into the conversation). I purchased based on the easy setup, I wish I hadn't and now it's too late to return.
Recommend for Personal Use Only You are unable to print a lot of pages should you have a brief to print.
Nice printer, annoying toner replacement policies This printer is a nice replacement for my ancient HL-5450 printer, which finally gave up the ghost after many years. However, there are two issues with it: the Brother replacement toner cartridges are expensive, and the "starter" cartridge was, in my case, good for only 551 pages before it ran out of toner. Doesn’t work Worst printer I ever seen in my life!! Basically it doesn’t work. If you are using apple don’t think about itttt
-- WOULD NOT INSTALL. NO LONGER WILL PRINT. Very Good until after 3.5 months when I tried to install TN760 ink cartridge. Would not print. Multiple tries, no go. By the way, not compatible with Mac, except via WiFi.
Great printer After years of using inkjets because I THOUGHT laserprinters were too expensive to purchase I finally searched laserprinters when it was time to make another purchase. Doesn’t work! EVERY time we want to print we need to reinstall. Can’t even print from our Mac and we are reasonably tech-savvy. It’s not easy to find support and the power button doesn’t even turn the machine off. It gets stuck in sleep mode and won’t work.
