Got a bad printer oh well I bought this printer and I was never able to get this paper to print correctly I have purchased other brands of paper and found ot the printer was the problem all this time. I was hoping to get a exchange on this but don't know who to contact I don't like writing reviews like this but didnt know who to talk to and am trying to be fair. I do like the printer but now the paper is just getting jammed so I'm not going to use it.
wireless connection is not reliable I"ve had the HL-L2350DW for about 8-9 months now. In that time, I have had NUMEROUS problems with this printer. Though I am not a tech wiz, I'm also not a complete novice when it comes to connectivity issues. Everytime I want to print something, and the printer is asleep, it will not print and will not wake up. Beware - bad page feeding I had a terrible time getting pages to print correctly and straight, they would print perfectly on my epson but when I went to the black and white brother, they printed sideways and off so I couldn't print pre cut sticker paper because the images would not line up. Sent it back and received another one, it prints straight. Both were brand new.. beware of low quality control on this machine. all tech support would tell me was send it back :(
Do not buy this printer if you want to print anything Out of the box with proper paper in the tray installed properly the printer will not print anything. Every 20th time you try to print it might decide to print 10-20 pages of what you're after. Otherwise expect only error codes and a hot smell from the printer. too good to be true all I wanted was to be able to print wirelessly, apparently an unreasonable request. Brother machines can't print on 5G technology, so you need to call you internet provider and have them split your signal into two 2.5 signals....what!?!? I'm so disappointed, but too lazy to send it back. USB cable again, I guess 😫
Print hardware-as-a-service 1 year subscription This printer worked fine for 10 months, then suddenly stopped being detected by the host computer (USB Interface). Biggest POS printer I have ever purchased! I have owned several printers, and several Brother printers, over the years. This printer has been a disappointment since day one! It has never worked properly. I ended up going Office Space on it because I got tired of it malfunctioning. Don't waste your money on this printer!
Won't work in a room with an arc fault breaker Constantly trips the arc fault breaker (required in bedrooms...) Tried updating firmware and driver - still has the problem. Frustrating to run down to the garage and reset the breaker every time the printer runs.
Wifi setup is terrible, but I figured out the fix For anyone having trouble with the wireless setup (which it seems like everyone is, and I certainly did), here's what I did that worked. NOTE: YOU WILL NEED A USB-B CABLE to connect directly from the printer to your computer. Yes, even the wireless setup requires a cable. I know; terrible. But once you have that cable, you can get wifi set up and won't have to use it again.
