Brother products have been changing the way people work, and play, for years. Our reliable, high-quality, feature-rich printers, scanners, labelers, and more are hard at work in homes everywhere. Whatever your need, Brother products are always "At your side."
Only real "improvement" is to discourage use of generic cartridges I use these small Brother laser printers around the home and in two offices for individual printers, and a selling point was being able to find generics for the TN660 toner cartridges for as little as $10 for 2,000+ pages. When I had to add another one, though, the HL-L2350DW appeared to be like any of the older models in the series —with one exception: the TN760 toner cartridges have chips installed on them in an attempt to cut down on the use of generic rep... read more
Brother is bad on this one... Here's a story: My parents bought this printer we set it up and got it connected to the router (via wps) everything looked cool until..... we wanted to print, the printer just didn't respond, we tried with a Mac and a iPhone, no response, so we thought that the issue might be because the printer is too far from the router so we moved it right next to the router and since then it's printing fine. Moral of this story: if you have the space to place this printer right next to your router you might ... read more
Does the job but gives no love Prints like a printer but gives no warning when toner is low just goes on strike. Warning! : Have backup toner on hand if you use often.
Does not work wireless! Does not work wireless! Installed easily with (temporary) USB cable. Worked wireless for a couple of days, then went offline. Nothing I could do would get it back online, short of re-installing. (I am a software engineer with years of experience.) Others report the same problem online; some found a solution, but nothing worked for me except temporarily. On a USB cable it functions very well, with excellent features, like automatic duplex. I'm sorry to have to return it, but wireless is a requirement f... read more
I hate the toner reset! Don't waste your money on this printer! The toner replace alert appears too frequently and there is still toner in the printer. It won't let you print at all. I hate wasting my money, I know there is more toner in the printer. You're better off purchasing a printer that doesn't have this option.
Unusable So far the user experience sucks. It is always asleep and never online, and it is impossible to figure out to make it come online. I just want to print, I don't need all this enviro-nazi crap taking over my stuff. SO frustrating... There is no phone number for help. They assume you have a dvd drive, but I'm pretty sure most modern laptops do not. They need to update the instructions to support this. After clicking around I got to a prompt on my laptop (Add a printer) that asks for a WPS PIN. There is no info at all ... read more
It'll go up if it keeps working. DOA, then suddenly decides to turn on. Didn't turn on for the first 30 minutes. Faulty power button? Crappy un-replacable and loose power cord? Who knows. It's working now, and if it keeps working, It'll get more stars. Piece of junk.
Worthless for Google Cloud Print Maybe this is a good printer if you're still hooking up your printer via a cable and working in Word. But if you're using Google Drive and cloud printing, forget it. It relies on extremely dated software and a hopeless app. You'll find reviews in Google Play commenting how the app "downloads" the file from Google Drive and then supposedly prints it. I say "supposedly" because after several minutes it times out. Similarly on a PC or Chromebook the network identifies the printer but then the pr... read more
