WATCH OUT! WATCH OUT! The restocking fee is crazy high. They charged me almost $100. The printer might not work with your computer.
Worst printer ever I wish I had sent this printer back. It has never ever printed a 'clean' PDF, or anything. Shadows, ghosting, you name it does it all. I have tried to look on you tube and follow directions for cleaning, and I have done all that they say to do. It just does not help. I am so disgusted with this. I wish I had sent it back.
Awful picture printing It’s nice of the ink last a while on this printer. If you’re just printing text in black-and-white or simple colors. Horrible, horrible job on photos. I tried printing some listing flyers, and they turned out awful! Blushing and colors fading into each other in very on smooth fashion. So if you’re going to be printing any sort of documents with a picture on it, steer clear of this printer
Do not buy this printer - Brother sends defective products without replacement options I purchased this printer in September for simple print outs, kids' homework, etc. For the first 50 pages, I'd say the quality was as expected. After that, the print outs had black smeared across all the pages. It has been getting worse and worse with each print. Gray Artifacting Unresolvable Loved my previous brother printer. This one has abhorrent print quality, and it's seemingly unresolvable. Go with something else if you're looking for a well-functioning small business printer.
Trash product This printer is terrible. From day 1 the pages have had black/grey streaks on them. After running through the maintenance steps on Brothers site, all results state to get a new toner. This is a brand new printer with a brand new Brother toner. Stay far away.
Broke after 1 year - warranty not honored Purchased this less than a year ago and was not recognizing toner cartridges. Brother was impossible to work with regarding warranty repair or replacement. Do not purchase because if it breaks down - you'll never get the proper support.
Printer streaks and poor resolution. Printer streaks nearly every time and images are muddy. Worst printer that I ever had. So sad that I missed the return deadline. COVID made a timely return impossible. What a waste of money. ;-<
