Don't expect any customer support for print issues As many others have stated in the reviews the OEM toner replacement cartridges are defective. When bringing this to the attention of Brother customer support they indicated it had been more than 90 days since my purchase of the part. Silly me for buying a backup before it was absolutely necessary and running out of warranty effectively before I even tried to use the product...

Worst Printer I've Ever Had This printer decided one day that the toner inside was not just empty, but not even there. I bought new cartridges and it accepted those for only about a month before deciding they didn't exist either. There is no way to reset the cartridges and I am so frustrated with this thing. Do not buy if you don't have to.

I returned it. Cant get clean prints I bought this in late Oct basically to print glossy labels. I have two other printers (Colorqube and Brother inkjet, neither of which really do glossly labels well). I did not realize that this printer is only one sheet feed at a time on the manual tray, which is where you need to feed glossy labels through. After only printing about 30 pages for work (just emails and b/w prints) I needed to run off some labels and could not get it to print without black all over the page. See pic attache... read more

WASTE OF TIME The first printer worked for about a week, but then would go into "Deep Sleep" mode and would not function properly unless I completely reset the machine. After about a month, the printer would not even power on. 3 hours of tech support they finally decided to send me a new printer. The new printer immediately had the same "Deep Sleep" issue. 1 hour of tech support later the person no longer wanted to assist me and told me to download the diagnoses app and then disconnected himself from the chat. Not as it appears Absolutely impossible to hook up to a Mac on Big Sur. Hard to understand instructions. Buttons on system were sunk in and hard to operate. Returned within 2 hours of opening and setting up.

CANNOT RESET TONER CARTRIDGE This printer has been great -- except for the fact that you cannot reset the toner cartridge. When I bought it I just assumed you could. I would not have purchased it if I had known. What this means is 1) extra cost and 2) risk you could be out of luck if you don't have a spare handy. For those who don't know how this all works, most printers will tell you to replace the toner cartridge when there is still like 20% or so of toner left. Disappointed 😞 Me and this printer has a hate love relationship one minute i love it the next minute i hate it’s always going off line and then it takes a long time for it to connect to my pc to print I will be sending this printer back and look into other options

Do Not Buy This Product & this Manufacturer This Product was totally Junk, Never able to print a single clear page. After wasting more than 3 months in troubleshooting process .Now Manufacturer want me to buy another Cartridge ($60) from my hard earned money and I still dont know ,it gonna be work or not . I suggest not to buy this product and do not go with this manufacturer .They never stand behind to their own products just make money thinks consumers are St..p...d

DO NOT BUY - CANNOT RESET TONER - This is Brother now using software to lock the owner (me who bought it) into very expensive toner purchases from Brother. If you run out of toner you cannot print, so if you just want a black and white print ( as 99% do) but your Cyan or some other toner has run out... well tough.. your not getting your black print until you replace that cyan , or other colors that have run out. Better printer makers out there that are actually customer and environmental better focused
