This place had 1 working elevator and it’s 34 floors in the Hotel. Our bathroom shower was dirty when we checked in. This place also does not sell water but they give away like 6 bottles a day at the front desk but I think the homeless people get most of those. In front of the hotel is always a different group of homeless people who are doing drugs and one of the homeless guys one during our stay didn’t have any pants on and was walking around in front of the hotel

Heat in the room at 80 would not go off. Has 3 people up to fix it. Smelled like weed from people smoking in their rooms. Room keys deactivated on a daily basis
Ask for a low floor!! Compliments to the staff that have to put up with a lot of complaints. It’s a 36 story hotel with 2 elevators, one of which is out of order more than half the time. We were on the 21st floor and it took 20 minutes to get to the ground floor. We were lucky that we never had to walk up. The rooms were small and old. It’s nicely located on 39th between 8th and 9th, but there are some suspicious characters hanging around at night. This is what you get for $450 a night in midtown Manhattan these days.
