I booked and Hotel claimed they didn't bill me and rooms were filled so I couldn't stay that night.
Wouldn't be back Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and as helpful as they could be, however the hotel itself needs serious investment. My first room had no working TV or safe and the blinds and wall were covered in mould. No alternative room was available to the next day. Room 2 had blinds that didn't open, lamps only, so low lighting and another safe that didn't work. The bed itself was comfortable but housekeeping didn't visit the entire 6 nights I was there. Bad Disappointed! The place was very disappointed. The room was smelling bad. The hallways are very narrow, tight. The worse thing that happened, the house keeper took a dirty cup of coffee, which I had used and was stained, put a plastic as if it were new to the next guest. also, I chose to pay more for a hotel with breakfast, but we couldn't get breakfast any day, they didn't give me the vouchers on the first day, they gave me them on the second day but the room service, Butler, weren't accepting breakfast order. The room itself was tiny even for NYC standards. It was just a convenience thing we live in NYC but my wife had to be somewhere very early so we stayed close to avoid traffic. Besides that most of the toiletries were missing or empty. Could have been used. The furniture on the balcony had no cushions are had holes in them. Strong musty smell in room. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. Major complaint is safety. Anyone can walk by the front desk, get in the elevator, and go to any floor without having to scan a key. Not cool. Cleanliness of the room was ok. Would have been nice to get housekeeping service to bring fresh towels and remove garbage. I stayed three nights and never saw them once.
The staff is terrible. The agreement was to charge on arrival but charged by credit card days before in advance. As a result i got calls from my bank's fraud department. On arrival they tried to charge me for the second time. On leaving the hotel they refuse to give me receipts for the payment. They told they only email receipts. And i am yet to receive the receipts for the payments.
They said there would be room cleaning every 5 nights. They did no cleaning at all.
