Using this company has been the worst experience of my life!! I paid $10,000 for a brand new air/heating system, and the air only worked for 5 years!! This was a Lennox air conditioner that formed a leak, and 3 technicians from Horizon could not fix it. I spent $1,000 in charges from the technicians, and then I had to spend another thousand dollars for window air conditioners because no one from this company would call me back. I want to give zero stars. Just needed things cleaned. It was 75 no matter what. So they came. They cleaned. And it went up to 83. When they came back they told me the thing they cleaned was broken and had to be replaced for $500. If it wasn't 102 degrees today there's no chance they'd get a dollar. But just fix it. There ads sound great but they don’t cover south Jersey, cape May county area.
Called for a tune up of my air conditioner. It was working but just wanted to clean it up and are sure things were OK. A tech came out, broke it and still charged us $120 for his time and gas money. The tech took his tools out and started to just beat the side of our unit. He then took our hose and drenched our unit, I'm assuming to make sure that it was beyond repair so that horizon could completely force us to replace our unit instead of a tune up or repair. AC technician flooded our basement after using a shut off hose connection which he turned back on without asking why it was shut off inside the house. Use at your own risk. This is the second time they “accidentally” caused water damage to our home and belongings during a service visit which is why I don’t use them for plumbing anymore. He apologized but left without offering to help clean up or move our wet belongings to a dry area. We called 4 weeks ago for warranty part , called several times a week for updates never heard back finally called week three and they "lost" the part. Then all of the sudden the next day they find it.They scheduled to put part in and gave us a window of 4 hours. Here it is 6 hours and still no word from them. Unfortunately, they now hold the warranty on our AC unit from LEVEL and we have to use them but believe me if you do not HAVE to use this company DONT!
A technician came to my house for the annual service on my air conditioning units and recommended some work he felt should be done. He left me a quote and, since then, no matter how many times I call no one every returns the calls and they backed out of the quote for the repairs instead asking me to replace the units with new ones. I'm still waiting for a call back to schedule the repairs. It's a shame my HVAC company sold their business to Horizon. Their customer service is horrible.
Overpriced cheap parts and up selling these people are the worst .
I prepaid for a service checkup. I called to make the appointment and was told that they no longer service my area. I was not notified or refunded my money. When you call the customer service line you can’t speak to a manager and they say that one will return your call. HORIZON IS THEE WORST!!
