Casino is actually across the street. Hotel under renovation...dirty...stale smoke smell...revolving door doesn't work. ..staff very unfriendly. ..poor parking location...no plug ins at bedside...i have a CPAP and had to scoot the bed out and unplug the lamp...most hotels have lamps with built in plug ins...they had one across the room. Rooms were big but very ugly...designers need to learn about eye appeal. Bathroom was tiny. No microwave. Luminere will never get me or my husband money again. When we booked back in October we were told one rate then when we went to check in they charged us a different rate. Room was disgusting and dirty. The bathroom had private area hairs in the sink and on the floor. No trash bags in any of the trash cans. The bed had no fitted sheet on it. They don't even offer you any type of free breakfast like most hotels do. No one who works there even knows the password to the free WiFi. They offer. We weren't told they were under renovation so the pool, hot tub, and fitness center were closed. I was upset about this because I had reservations at another hotel prior to but cancelled because they were renovating. The hotel is nice. The room was nice. The hotel does have the smell of smoke but I think that is due to the casino. The lighting in the rooms are very poor. Bad parking. Rude and poorly trained staff. Dirty premises. Tight slot machines. Poor dealers, a lack of security and the few security people are extremely rude. Poor/lacking player rewards. Inadequate hotel. Poor systems controls. Phony hosts and hostesses. This is the worst casino operation in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
