Lumiere you just lost a slot player. I usually park free at the casino to go to Cardinal games and usually spend $200-$200 before. Today was told they are charging $30 to park. Guess you lost another player. Shameful! I'll go to the queen for free.
very disappointing. we blocked 30 room for a family reunion. On arrival we found the hotel was being remodel. That was not to bad but OMG rooms dirty, beds needed to be replaced. Rooms swelled of smoke but this is a non-smoking hotel, no room service, coffee makers had 2 X 4 filters but round coffee dispensers so you could not drink the coffee it was colored water. 1) They are under construction( probably a good thing) We were not warned until we saw tarps go up, ice machines shut down & woken up at 6 am by construction. 2) It is dirty. Just plain gross. 3) The staff was wonderful. It's not their fault they are under construction. Front desk staff this past week should receive a raise. 4) Future Guest: This is NOT a 4 star hotel & resort as they advertise.
We were disappointed from the beginning to the end regarding our stay at the hotel as we wanted to stay downtown after a Cardinal game. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm & staff were unable to give an estimate on time. After we were able to check in, we waited a long time for the elevator & noticed the dirty carpet. Looks great from outside, lobby is beautiful, I would not call this a 4 star hotel, staff is rude in Ozzys restaurant staff would not seat us, said it would 15 min. wait, when restaurant was half empty and there were seats at the bar! $10.00 parking we were not told about and you still cant park in main parking lot, quit a walk to hotel. sheets and rugs were stained, rooms smell like smoke even tho a none smoking room, WIFI was not good. Will not stay again, would rather stay at Casino Queen.
All the machines are rigged up... The screen u see is already PRE-SELECTED THEY ARE STEALING THATS WHY THEY CLOSING EVERYTHING IN THERE...THE MACHINE TECHNICIAN SAID THEY NOT GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO CUT THEM ON JUST YET... Gotta say, pretty disappointed with the customer service- or lack there of at the Lumiere Hotel. After being told they couldn't accommodate 7 people in a room (as we had been previously reassured at the time of booking), we were rather rudely told there was "nothing they could do". Our options were to have 3 adults in a Queen bed or one on a floor. We were then given a list of area hotel's to find something else ...on our own. I was assaulted by security and arrested when they knocked my phone out my hand.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. 1st they gave us rooms keys that had a what was probably a naked man in it and asked if he was wearing a costume...? Saw the pants on the floor along with my 8yr daughter... thanks for that. Stained carpet that looks gross, had room service menu yet no service available anymore. Hair accessories on the bathroom floor,not mine...? Restaurants are a joke!
