We will never stay there again. Heat did not work. It is cold outside why would you be running a/c when it is 40 degrees outside. The hostess at the Wok restaurant did not speak at all to us. The casino was not good. Some of the machines did not take money, meaning it would take it then spit it back out. Some of the buttons on slot machines are broken. Horrible experience! First room reeled of smoke and the second one smelled like they poured 5 gallons of Axe body spray on the carpet to try to cover up the smell. I slept with a shirt over my face to be able to breathe and cancelled the rest of my stay there. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my day and this was hands down the worst. The 70's decor didn't help either. Not one thing appealing about this hotel.
We waited 3 hours to eat at the buffet. I think you need to split the coupons up on different days. Not sure if i will eat there again.
Great Place to Enjoy yourself. Lot's of things to do besides gamble.
I have to say it's not worth near the money we paid to stay there. My complaints are the same as every one else's. The place isnt especially clean. The parking in relation to the hotel is just silly. The employees were nowhere near accommodating. This is not anything close to what I expect when I pay that much for a room for one night. I'm reading all of rhe other reviews and it's the same ole, same ole......i do not believe your owners/management have any intentions of fixing the problems or they WOULD have by now.
For STARTERS WE ALWAYS ENJOYED ST.LOUIS. Last few stays here has been difficult. Noisey neighbors sound like a darn daycare. Call down and the front desk acted like we were crazy to call down. #2 THE STAFF AT RESTAURANTS ARE SLOW AND OVER WORKED AS WE HEARD MANY COMPLAIN ABOUT 13+HRS WORKED. 3 SECURITY NEEDS TO CONTROL KIDS UP ON THE 8TH FLOOR AS WE WERE HEADED OUT ON THE TOWN KIDS RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HALLS PUSHING EACHOTHER IN THE RAILING. #3 HOMELESS,DRUG ISSUES, ECT SHOULDNT HAVE TO FEEL THREATENED TO WALK OUTSIDE ARO... read more
