This place is attached to the hip of Four Seasons Hotel yet has nothing in common. It has to be gutted out & revamped from inside out; replace entire staff (except for the bartender in the lobby) clean up & raise their rates. Louminiere has the potential of being a fun, trendy hotel, yet it ran poorly, smell bad & has no basic services it said it does. Thumbs down
The hotel and casino were fine. Eating at the Diner was the worst! Took forever to get seated (which should have been our first sign). Had a long wait for the food to come out. And even longer to get the bill. The food was ok, but the service was HORRIBLE!
staff was rude and disregarded my needs because of my appearance, after being ignored I asked a businessman to make the request (on my behalf) and they jumped to serve him- then scowled as they found out it was actually for me
I found Lumiere Place in St Louis to one of those once in a lifetime surprises. After a rocky start from my travel agent concerned about it. My experience went up from there. I found the staff at the Hotel from check in to departure to be very pleasant & upbeat. Room was clean and comfortable. I will never stay here again!!! Worst hotel ever! Parking is all messed up, charging me money to park even though I'm paying them money to stay there... but letting people that gamble park free, even worse everyone you talk to has no idea what's going on. Recommend you stay clear and go anywhere else.
I stayed here for the STL hair show and went to the casino at 9pm and the staff would not let us in saying my friend had to much to drink.. Walked off and the little girl that would not let us in was laughing.. I went to staff and they ALL said that we where GREAT to go in.. Well, you my friends lost a lot of money and my husband wants to send you a Christmas card because you saved him tons of money..
