Told them my situation, what I had for trade in and what I was looking for, along with my budget. Lied to me on the phone to get me to drive all the way out to Lincoln when I was in Omaha, so I could become invested in the situation. eBay and out of state buyers beware. They messed up my paper work 2 years ago and I still have not received my registration. My business partner also bought a 7 series at same time and had same issue. After sale if you have issues they will ignore your emails and calls. Dealt mainly with the online sales manager. Called me a lair for asking them to help me get car registered. If I go to dmv and they have no record of car, how can I register myself. I don't have the title. I was dealing with the BMW/Mercedes dealership of Husker auto group to purchase a used vehicle. I had several phone conversations with a sales person and two different managers and had an agreement to purchase site unseen as I live eight hours away from the dealership. I am having troubles with my Mercedes and tried to call them to help me with some advice. Having worked at a car dealer in the area before, I didn't expect much help. That's exactly what I got. I just had a simple yes or no question to ask and got brushed off. I was hung up on the first time around so I called back and was told to just bring it in. If you can't take the time to treat me like I matter, why would I bring my car there? I'll go elsewhere.
horrible experience with this group. bought car from them through the phone at my home in florida. car was driven to my home in florida and was in terrible condition and not what was I was told. I was informed that if I wanted to cancel contract they would give all monies back except for the delivery charge. would never have been treated in such a disrespectful manner if the general manager would ever call me.
The service department at Husker Auto seems to work off two things, commission and consumer naïveté. I had to go here for recall work on my Chevrolet. The staff at the counter were friendly and got my vehicle in quick. During the recall work, a service department technician told me that my rear main was leaking and quoted me a repair ticket of $700 for fixing this "problem". An update to my experience. 2 1/2 weeks after purchase, I finally got my accessories installed. I ordered the paint sealer, under carriage protectant, interior protectant, and nerf bar running boards. Everything looked good, EXCEPT for the paint protectant. It looked like they applied it with a squirt gun, rubbed it around then half way wiped it off. There was multiple places where they didn't wipe off excess. I wish I would've seen this before going to them to buy a truck and sell my car. After I had already signed paperwork to sell my car. Hand shake, waiting on loan pay off..the next higher manager calls me today and says, "We are only offering this amount of money, not a cent more."
