They get no stars from me. I had to leave 1 star to do my review! The denied all my husbands cancer claims.I think I am in the movie Rainmaker deny deny!I would not recommend this company.
This organization is horrible! Denying treatment to people fighting cancer seems immoral. Their use of Bold fonts and double talk is amazing! They are the Death panel we were all hearing about when politicians talked about going to a single payer system and eliminating insurance companies and companies like IBA.
This company deserves ZERO stars!!! They take your money every pay period, but refuse to pay your medical bills! We lost my daughter's pediatrician because of this company. They never sent payment for a routine yearly checkup, so they now refuse our insurance. Who could blame them? I'm afraid we'll lose our other doctors! We also have three outstanding medicals bills that haven't been paid, one is from 18 months ago! This company needs to be eliminated from the public. They are scammers who sell you a dream of heath care coverage at an inexpensive cost. In reality the premium does not cover anything at ALL. The prey on healthy individuals and sell you preventative care. "There when you need it" only for preventative care not to be covered! This is costing me Thousands of dollars out of pocket! The absolute worst. My company has used them for the past three years, and each year is worse than before. They have to be the lowest cost available option. An example of how poorly they are run, today is Monday May 10, 2021 and no 2021 claims are visible and visible on their web-site. Forget about obtaining timely EOB's, last week I received an EOB from October of 2020. If you are a healthcare provider, and you treat a member, IBA says they paid the claim, even will say the check number on the explanation of benefits, but there will be no check. You can not get a live person on the phone, they do not return emails. Even the member will get the runaround. Either they are incompetent, and or someone internally is cashing the checks that supposed to go to the providers and the providers are taxed on that money.
They claim it’s all pre existing and on stuff they say isn’t pre existing they never process. My provider can’t even contact them as they have refused calls. THIS IS A SCAM...DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I don’t understand how the government can allow it. The company must be paying someone off. My wife got cancer and we are bankrupt cuz of IBA.
