Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

It took one visit for me to become a fan and dedicated repeat customer. Absolutley excellent customer service and mechanics, product knowledge, and low overall wait times. I love that they offer a ride to the mall or library or within a reasonable distance while you wait. I love the suprise treat of a pack of gum or a bag of popcorn waiting for me on the passenger seat. Definately an above and beyond type of business. Shout out to DENNIS as he is retiring very soon and the very first reason for my business!
