My Toyota Tundra had a very expensive part fail (brake actuator) and the Toyota dealer diagnosed and came up with a figure almost $800 higher than JAM. We dropped the truck off on a Friday, got a correct diagnosis on Saturday, and picked up the truck on the following Thursday (earlier than expected, parts came in.
