Do NOT buy a car here and if you do please read your paperwork very carefully. They will do “loan packing” where they will literally shove a warranty down your throat, and they get commission off it. Another example is permaplate paint “protection.” Nothing more than cheap wax and they’ll hit you for about 1000 dollars for it. This place is crawling with scum who want nothing more than to take your hard earned money. Go elsewhere. OR have a attorney check the paperwork. They will not have your interests at heart. Not a good experience. Business manager included several warranties in excess of 5400.00 on purchase of a vehicle. Buyer beware! After going back and forth several times, 4500 was removed but remaining amount was not and remaining amount was some sort of perma plate we did not agree to. Look at everything you sign with these individuals, specifically when financing. 4 warranties included that were not discussed during the sale. Bad dealership.

I am a first time car buyer, and I’m highly unsatisfied with the way my experience has been so far with the used car sales. The day I bought my car, they put on the “We Owe” sheet that they would replace the tires on my car, & I have yet to hear back from them. It has been well over a month. I would never recommend this dealership. In all my years of buying and selling cars I have never dealt with a more unprofessional group of people that no one seems to know what is going on. I sold them a car 20 days ago and I also ordered a new Rav 4. I have still not been paid for the car I sold them nor can you get anyone to call back and get it handled they just hand it off to the next person that doesn’t know what’s going on then tell you they have it handled then another week goes by.

Shame on Toyota of Johnson City! I have driven Toyotas for 16 years now and consider myself brand loyal. I was shocked and absolutely floored to hear how he was treated at this particular dealership. My brother came into the dealership this past Friday and made a deal on a truck. An offer and deal sheet were made up and sent to my brothers bank on December 31st, in the afternoon. Not the company they were last time I bought from them. Management will not return calls, only sales do. Add-ons they sale.... not as sold.

We bought a Land Cruiser here that should have gone to auction or sold for parts instead of being sold at a reputable dealership. I should have realized when Kelly Winchell wouldn’t let me see underneath it or put it on a lift that there were problems, but he assured me it was all undercoated so the undercarriage was in great shape. The frame is toast. We’ve had numerous rust-related issues including brake and gas line failures. I’d recommend considering a different and more honest dealership.

I purchased a car and haven’t had it a year and it’s been nothing but problems. I purchased the warranty with the car and they can’t fix it plus I said I was tired of having the same issue occur and I spoke with a manger and he told me he was trying to get in contact with the warranty place and could not get an answer, than stated he had it worked out with the sales manger to allow a trade in. UPDATED::::: I would not recommend Johnson City Toyota This was the second vehicle I have brought from them so being a return customer means nothing to them. It has been over 2 months now and I haven’t received my tag or any paperwork from the state and when I called for the 3rd or 4th time I find out another bank had a lend on the vehicle that Johnson City Toyota sold me which they didn’t disclose to me at the time of purchase. So they didn’t have a clear title to the vehicle they sold. SO I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEN... read more
