Kilowatt is fantastic. Initial call was with Dean who was at my house same day to look at the setup and give an estimate for HVAC replacement. Received an estimate the same day as well for a heat pump. Where they stand out: 1. Not the cheapest but you get the most value. This isn't to say they are 2X but I'd say within 10%. We just had our 13 year old HVAC system replaced by Dean and his crew. Our compressor burned out, and instead of replacing just the condenser, we opted to replace the entire system with a more efficient high Seer variable speed heat pump. While the service footprint of Kilowatt focuses on Sherman Oaks, Dean came out to Mar Vista to evaluate our current setup and advise us on ways to improve it. Nothing but praise for these guys. I have used them on 2 separate occasions. Very personable, friendly, cortious and helpful. Gave me an estimate that was not exceeded at the end. I would recommend this business for all your HVAC needs. They take every precaution to be safe and cleaned up afterwards. Don't go elsewhere.

Kilowatt was originally a Neighbor's recommendation years ago. Since they installed the air conditioning ( and they were very good about clean up afterwards) they have been very good in responding to calls , do regular maintenance , replace components only if indicated, and they are honest. If I was not happy with a service experience -- they have made immediate changes for the better. They tend to send the same personnel each visit as they are most easy to work with. Its 110 degrees outside, and writing this review in my 79 degree home office!! New Heat Pump AC with all ducts replaced, and a new return twice the size of the old one. Dean stood out from other business owners. All others gave me estimates for your basic run of the mill Goodman system. He recommended an America Standard Heat Pump AC/heating system, told me about all the rebates available, and the final cost was the same as some, and lower than others selling a basic system. Wow!! My mom's AC went out on the hottest holiday weekend. I called dozens of AC companies, left messages and no return calls. Jessica at kilowatt answered and Byron arrived on time the next morning. He worked quickly, diagnosed and explained problem. He replaced the capacitor and the system is up and working. He was very nice and extremely professional! Wonderful service! My 96 yr old mother is ever so grateful and so am I. Great service! I definitely recommend Kilowatt!
