Five stars for Kilowatt, Dean ( owner) and their technicians. In the last few years they installed a new HVAC system in our home, after we determined the existing one was old and under powered. No one likes to pay for maintenance, but their routine service keeps our system in good shape for 105 or 35 degrees. This past weekend during all the rain our sump pump stopped working , we placed a call to them for someone to come and fix the problem. Dean came over himself and solved the issue in less than 30 minutes!

Kilowatt installed our a/c and heating system over 4 years ago and have been attending to regular maintenance since then. Great service, very professional, never had a problem with the system. They take before and after pictures such as during a cleaning, so you can see what they did.

Kilowatt is fantastic. Initial call was with Dean who was at my house same day to look at the setup and give an estimate for HVAC replacement. Received an estimate the same day as well for a heat pump. Where they stand out: 1. Not the cheapest but you get the most value. This isn't to say they are 2X but I'd say within 10%. We just had our 13 year old HVAC system replaced by Dean and his crew. Our compressor burned out, and instead of replacing just the condenser, we opted to replace the entire system with a more efficient high Seer variable speed heat pump. While the service footprint of Kilowatt focuses on Sherman Oaks, Dean came out to Mar Vista to evaluate our current setup and advise us on ways to improve it. Nothing but praise for these guys. I have used them on 2 separate occasions. Very personable, friendly, cortious and helpful. Gave me an estimate that was not exceeded at the end. I would recommend this business for all your HVAC needs. They take every precaution to be safe and cleaned up afterwards. Don't go elsewhere.

Kilowatt was originally a Neighbor's recommendation years ago. Since they installed the air conditioning ( and they were very good about clean up afterwards) they have been very good in responding to calls , do regular maintenance , replace components only if indicated, and they are honest. If I was not happy with a service experience -- they have made immediate changes for the better. They tend to send the same personnel each visit as they are most easy to work with. My ac went out of the hottest week of the year, I was shocked that we were able to get a same day appointment. The technician was knowledgeable and straightforward. He fixed the problem quickly and saved the day.
