Room was smelly, the shower curtain smelled really bad.
Omg! This was the worst LaQuinta I have ever stayed in. I reserved 2 rooms with 2 queens for 3 nights. When I checked in, the rooms were on the 2nd floor and the clerk advised us that the elevator was out of order. Reading the reviews it has been a problem for a while. We requested the 1st floor. The clerk let us know that she had only one room with a king bed on the 1st floor. We took it. That was a big mistake. We could hear everything as far as the front desk. No refrigerator, un accessable wall outlets, broker toilet paper holder and blow dryer, half panted. Ac worked great though.
Found one bed bug on night 2 after they put "clean sheets" in. Plus, a huge bug in the sink that we had to kill. This resulted in us sleeping in our rental car for the last night. The staff was friendly but the place smelt disgusting and the elevator was always out of service. The elevator wouldn't be a normal complaint of mine if the place was at least clean. The location is good, but very pricey for what it offers. Our room was the worst! According to the online check in, it was the last available, but the restroom was clogged. The phone didn't work and the fridge was broken. The ice machines weren't working either. We tried to get a hold of someone to help, but no one was available. It was a good thing that it was a short stay and we only went to sleep.
Not safe overpriced and dirty
I wouldn’t stay here again. There was a hole in the floor of my bathroom, the couches were disgusting, everything about this property was run down. It needs a complete remodel. I didn’t even want to shower here, I just waited until our next stop.
We were assigned a room with no mirror in the bathroom. Elevator had a problem.
