flight was cancelled last minute by airline neither Expedia or hotel will make any exceptions or credit for unused room

Unfortunately, you paid Expedia for your hotel stay and should be working with them directly for a resolution.
The hotel offers very little, front desk could not even book us a taxi. Rooms are old and very basic. Hallway smelt of weed as we got out if elevator. Overpriced for what it has to offer. Never again or would not recommend.

I found this place really run down. It reminded me very much of a multi level motel. I stayed on 5th floor and whe walking to my room all the doors on the rooms looked like the had been kicked on at one time and painted over. The room had a musty smell, I travel on a regular basis and definitely would not stay here again

Property was a typical La Quinta hotel that caters to overnight cruise passengers. The breakfast area was woefully too small with long lineups to get food especially when a cruise was leaving. After years of travel this was an unwelcome first. If anyone was trying to check in or check out during this time well good luck as the line up snaked right in front of the front desk. There was only one person working the checkin desk with a line of people to check in. She was very professional and nice but there should have been someone helping her.

Checking in, I asked about a pool. The staff said "yes, and there's a hot tub". So I changed and went to the hot tub, turned it on, and it was cold. I waited. Cold. A couple came out and went directly to the hot tub. I told them my experience and they confirmed. We went to the desk and I reminded the staff person that he said there was a hot tub, which I took to mean a "HOT" tub. He said "Oh, maintenace was to have looked at that".
Bath sink plugged. Did not drain
