Overall LaQuinta Waxahachie stay The rooms are not clean like I expected them to be. The shower/ tub was very dirty upon arrival and so was the sink. The beds were also super uncomfortable. The mattresses were hard as a rock and extremely hard to sleep on. The a/c kept blowing dust in the air which caused me and my partner to sneeze a lot. Also, one of the lamps in the room had a broken switch. We had to turn the light bulb in order to turn the light on. The property is alright. The staff was extremely nice and hospitable. Wasn’t the best place The first room me and my husband it smelled like really heavy smoke. Then the second room we had it smelled better but the room just felt really dirty the shower curtain had mold on it. The place just wasn’t a very good clean feeling. The staff was very helpful.

The room could have been cleaner. There were doubts that the sheets had been changed. The room was not as clean as it could have been. We found a long hair in our sheets that didn't belong to either one of us. The breakfast was fine.

Bad Prior to our stay beginning, we were precharged and over charged the incorrect amount. Upon speaking with the front desk attendant and management, we were told that there was nothing they could do and that if a refund was issued it would take a number of days to get our funds back. Booking.com stated that we would not be charged anything and that we would pay at the property. By the time we got to the property and went to our room, we noticed that it was infested with roaches. Disappointing but ok The fact that my room was canceled after I spoke to the guy on duty 3 different times prior to my arrival. Once there I was informed there were no rooms available. The girl behind the desk argued with me. I went & grabbed my phone & was able to book a room while standing right there. Even though I apologized she was not friendly at all. Next morning housekeeping made a point to tell me that the girl ended up going to the emergency room as though it was my fault for being upset !!! Location
