There is hardly ever staff at the desk and if there is they just direct to the Horseshoe for anything you may need.

Rude, rude, RUDE My crew was working in the area and the front staff was (unwarrantedly) rude and impolite to my guys. We will be in the area for several months and will NOT return to this hotel.
Smelly and desperatly needs to be updated It smelled like sewer in the room and needs to be updated. No idea why they charge you resort fees. Safe broke, coffee machine didnt work properly. Compare to the other properties in black hawk, this one seems to be the oldest and it shows.

The AC was out for my entire stay after informing the staff they we’re irritated that I wanted to speak with a manager and was being rude with me

Our room smelled like dog pee right as we walked in which they obviously knew about since our window was cracked in the room. Then after asking the staff if we booked a pet room the man on the phone yelled at us instead of speaking to us in a nice tone. Never saying here again. Left the same day because we couldn’t stand the smell and it was giving us a headache. Money wasted.
Beds extremely hard, food horrible and over priced. Staff grumpy and not helpful
First room had 8 to 10 inch ball of black hair splatted on the bathroom shower, second room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, 3rd room had huge insects in the room. Very dissatisfied.
