Booked through Expedia. Lady luck charged me an additional $39 on top of booking. Then my room has a broken coffee maker in it, so I can only assume that's why they kept my $75 deposit. There was a $14 service charge. -$69 Expedia -$39 ?! Added to room fee -$14 service charge -$75 charged for a non working coffee maker Total-$197 Expedia and service charge ok ($83), the rest IS A SCAM!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. I don't drink, I don't gamble. Was by myself watching TV. Went to bed early. THANKS LADY SCHMUCK! NEVER AGAIN!

Checking in was a pain . There was no one at the check in desk by the parking garage. Unfortunately I was on crutches, and the only help I could get was being told i have to go to the front desk at the other end of the casino. Did have one worker that was very helpful getting me a luggage cart, after I checked in and hobbled back across the casino back to the parking garage. I have stayed in Blackhawk many times and this is the worst experience I have had.

The air conditioner wasn't working properly unable to sleep because it was too hot in the room. There was no hot water in the shower and the safe was broken we were unable to use it. It was very noisy in the hallways you could clearly hear peoples' conversations from your room.

Room wasn’t cleaned once during our stay, the staff was rude when checking out and not available during the majority of our trip.

9th floor smells like urine in the hallway , room had a musty smell and bed sheets were dirty.

The air conditioning was broken. The whole 9th floor is super hot. We have 3 rooms and every room was hot. Even though it says pet friendly, there’s no where to take your dog to go to the bathroom. You have to drive somewhere just to find some grass. Limited places to eat. Gas stations are non existent. Most casinos have a gas station next to them. Nothing for kids to do.

We arrived at 10:05 and the staff were already gone for the night so we had to check in on a kiosk. Not a big deal but I’ve stayed at crappy hotels that have staff 24 hours and a casino doesn’t. So we get to our room and there’s no remote for the tv, no big deal I’ll call someone. After calling 5 sources not one person answered until I called security, they transferred me to the front desk and it disconnected.
