I accidentally stumbled across the Yelp page for my credit union and was surprised by the mediocre rating. I have had an account with LBS Financial Credit Union for many years and, in terms of customer service, they are by far the best financial institution I have ever encountered. A++++++ service!!! Elvia assisted me in opening a new checking account. She was friendly, knowlegable, and very efficient. All banking associates in the world need to be exactly like her!!!!!!! She explained everything, and even even helped me set up my online banking. So excited to be a part of this credit union!!!!

Not sure where the Call Center is located, but today Tory made me glad to be a member of LBSFCU. She was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as she handled all of my telephone business. She helped me learn to better navigate the website and resolved my issues. She provided outstanding service!

I switched over to this Credit Union a few years back when B of A and all of the other major Banks were all raising their ridiculous fees and charges for basic services. I received not only free checking and savings( B of A charges you a monthly $5 service charge for a savings account with less than $600). Not only were the accounts free, I earn interest on the balances of both monthly. A lot of time has passed since my first review. A substantial number of transactions via phone and in person have occurred with LBSFCU since my initial interaction via Ruby. I am happy to report that by and far they have been satisfactory. The service has a more personable feeling and if you are a victim of checking/debit card fraud as I have been twice in the last 12 months... they get five stars. Okay, I see a lot of negative reviews, and except for the person who doesn't get how loans and interest works, I kind of agree. I a small CU and most issues are dealt with by an individual and sometimes that individual is maybe not seeing things your way (or even having a bad day and being pissy). That can make for some difficulties if you are a person who may overdraw, or have other problems (like me). But this is also what make LBS so fantastic. It's Personal! I must be in a 5 star mood today. I never have a problem coming into this bank. I bank with Partners Federal Credit Union, but come in here to complete transactions on a monthly basis. Every teller is super friendly and I always end up striking up a nice conversation with each and every one of them. I know people dread going to the bank and would rather complete transactions online or with autopay, but I enjoy a good old fashioned bank teller any day!
