ATM was down, I went inside to get cash out - I use an affiliate credit union - the clerk said he couldn't go in, that my account was restricted - there was something wrong w my account Are you sure? I am able to log in using my phone to my account, no message, server is working - he dismissed me, didn't ask his colleagues ... I went outside, the ATM was working and got my cash Terrible customer service , lazy and not willing to problem solve
If I could give zero stars, I would. This credit union treats both its employees and customers with complete disregard. They advertise themselves as a "community-focused" institution, but in reality, they prioritize themselves over people at every turn. Customer service? Nonexistent. Expect long wait times, rude interactions, and constant issues with your accounts. Instead of helping members, they seem more interested in making things as difficult as possible. I bank with Orange County Credit Union, but I use LBS to withdraw money often. The other night the ATM ate my card for not apparent reason. Gave me my withdrawal but ate my card and then said the machine was out of service. I called to try and to receive my card but they apparently dispose of cards this happens to immediately. So not only did they take my card, they offered no solutions to help me retrieve it. Now I have to deal with a big ole hassle situating everything over to a new card. LBS CU in Newport Beach has rude management. Single teller talks endlessly about which accounts to draw funds from while customers wait in line. If customer doesn't know which account to draw funds from they need to talk to someone sitting at a desk. Actually the place has several people at desks doing nothing. Single Teller is obtuse and deliberately controls other customers ability to make simple transactions. Also the ATM in not their responsibility. DO NOT USE THEIR ATM MACHINES! I deposited $820 cash into my account last night and the machine took my money but didn't count or add it to my account. I am now having to go through the process of getting my money back.
Iig i Could give them a half a start I would! have been with this credit union for over 20 years. I have had so much fraud on my account it's ridiculous. Someone somewhere cloned my card and PIN number. They deposited a a stolen check into my account and tried to withdrawal money from my account. My fault for not paying attention to the deposit thinking it was a bonus that I was waiting for from my 2nd job. I spent the money as usual paying bills and day to day living expenses. I was processing a home equity loan application and I felt very unassisted by staff. It seemed to me that they were simply looking for ways to back out of the deal instead of ways they could help me. Josie Truong was polite but very direct. I told her I needed a faster closing and she said she could not work faster and then flat out refused to process my paperwork when she realized I had an ADU and a JADU on the property. I have a car loan with this Credit Union. I have gotten married since obtaining the vehicle loan. LBS Federal Credit Union refuses to submit the name change request I sent them (with payment included) to update the loan to my legal name. This is how you do business??
