Loancare is the worst company I have ever done business with. After my loan was sold to them, it became a nightmare. They changed the terms of my loan when they received it and I had to file a federal complaint to get them to change it back. Then, they were charging me too much monthly. After hours (3.5 hours) on the phone with them, they fixed this. The long waits on the phone are normal for them and completely unacceptable. The worst. My mortgage was sold to Loancare. In the transition to the new auto [pay they screwed up and after one payment I received a notice that I was late because they never processed the paperwork even though the paperwork was sent to the proper location and there was no indication from them that it was not received. I found out when I got a credit alert. My credit was excellent and now I have to deal with their buffoonery. Pissed.
Absolutely horrible!!! We have been trying to close our account with LoanCare for over three months and every time I call to ask why it hasn't been done. I once was out in gold for AN HOUR for the representative to tell me he doesn't know what is going on !!! I did not willingly choose this company. The company I was using sold our account to them without telling us !
Every month I have to call their customer service desk because there login does not work. This has been going on for a long time now. Then I have to pay a few to get my bill processed.
My loan after almost 5 years with original lender ********** Bank out of ******* sold off my loan to this DESPICABLE Company! July 1st I get notification of this loan transfer to take place and that NO payments will be accepted by them beyond July 31st, 2019. For WEEKS I tried to set up create and access my account with required personal data info only to have it rejected dozens of times saying there was no information on me or the new loan account. This is the worse company to do business with, customer service doesnt know anything, leave you on hold, dont call back. Not good dealing with peoples livelihoods.
So far not good. I received my tax bill in the mail last week, scanned and sent it to them. They currently have tax payments out of my escrow account set up for semi-annually at a very incorrect amount. So I emailed them. A week goes by with no response. I called them. I'm told they will not fix it to pay annually at the lower amount. They say they cannot change it at all. So they will pay my taxes out of my escrow account and pay an extra ******* unnecessarily. This company should be out of business, my loan went into default after my payment went up over ******* and no one could tell me why. So, I started a trail with Loss Mitigation back in January and I have paid ********** to date. I made several extra payments over the last 8 months which I do not know where they were applied.I received a letter in July stating my new payment would be ******** and that I meet all requirements for Loss Mitigation only to find out that was a lie and my house is in foreclosure after paying over *... read more
Absolutely horrible! I've made bi weekly payments for over a year without issue. I had been 2 months ahead on my mortgage as well as sending a little extra to apply towards principal. I'm now a half month behind. I've called twice and was never informed on the 1st call that they no longer accept biweekly payments. The 2nd call I was told that their system would only allow bi weekly payments for a while but now I have to send only 1 payment in order for it to be applied properly.
