This company has predatory practices and should be out of business. They bought my mortgage and failed to notify me until the account was in arrears. They have damaged my credit rating, even though auto payments have continually been processed from my checking account.
The WORST of the worst !!!!!! My wife and I need help this mortgage company is digging us a biggest whole. Our original mortgage company sold our mortgage, it has been **** ever since. They have actually took money out of our payments. We sent proof with bank statements covering the checks. They never answered for 3 months then sent a letter saying it was fine all was good. This company is horrible. They are saying the mortgage is **** more than it is every month. Reporting me to credit company. Has never sent me information on this. Won't talk to me about the loan. Tell me I need to pay the full amount, but won't give me information and tell me the amount I owe.
Had a mortgage with them for 2 years. They never paid property taxes on time-and NEVER paid property tax on one land lot on my mortgage. They refunded my entire escrow balance and 4 months later, said that it was in the negative because they had to pay property taxes from a zero balance escrow account, but never notified me of the problem to offer me the ability to send the money to replenish the escrow or adjust the payments accordingly. I was very sad to hear my mortgage company change to Loancare. Their customer service is downright awful. I often have to call multiple times to get a clear answer on questions about property tax payment, surplus on my escrow account and any other questions I may have about my loan. They also act as a collections company which highlights the lackluster effort on behalf of agents to find a solution to the most basic questions. This is the worst mortgage company that I've worked with. Do yourself a favor, do not do business with them. My account is screwed up and I've accrues late fees via their phone teller feature. They stated that I gave incorrect information that they did not corroborate and when I asked for the records, they refused to furnish them. I wish I had checked when it was transferred to this company. I would not recommend them. I am refinancing with another company to ensure that I don't have to do business with them in the future.
If I could leave a 0 I would. My loan was transferred to LoanCare and I was told that my automatic payments would not continue and that I would need to arrange payments. So I made a payment with bill pay through my bank. 10 days later, LoanCare took out another payment. I didn't find out about this until after business hours on a Friday. Only gave 1 star because that's as low as I can go. Loan Care bought out our Mortgage from our original lender in July of 2019. I received a letter in June of 2019 from our original lender telling us that we will be paying the new mortgage company and wait for a bill in the mail from them as it will contain all account information. Come July 22nd, never received anything from the new company and had to call the old lender to find out who the new mortgage company was. I work for a mortgage broker, and tons of our clients loans are being transferred to Loancare. They have absolutely terrible customer service I get hung up on pretty much everytime I call because they do not want to deal with the problem at hand.. They send out faxes that do NOT come through legible, payoff department never sends the payoffs like they say they are going to do we have almost lost several locks on out clients loans because of this..
