failed to pay 2017 or 2018 property tax, over ***** dollars in back taxes, penalty and Interest was also added to my account, in result a lawsuit will be filled against my property, I had to pay everything on my personal credit card because of their carless behavior, continuing to ignore the issue and No communication with all parties involved. If I could review with 0 stars I would. In April, somehow, the address was changed to my estranged husband's personal P.O. Box. After an hour on hold, they wanted to argue that it wasn't changed, although I was holding a statement with his box number on it. Finally the c/s rep "dug into the records" and found his box number. She said she fixed it. The next month it happened again....same thing...said it was fixed but wasn't (after, of course, almost an hour on hold). Horrific company. * phone agents have no clue what they are doing * an acceptable resolution to a password reset not working was to verbally read back a password over the phone to the agent, after giving them your SSN How is this ok?
My loan was transferred to them several months ago and all was good until this past April. They have messed up my escrow which is now negative 17k due to them paying taxes that didn't belong to me. I have been going back and forth with them since April and its still not resolved, I get the same answers from the reps (who don't know squat) that the tax team is still working on it but I'm not allowed to talk to them. This mortgage company did not pay my homeowners insurance that was due March 2019. You cannot reach someone without waiting at least an hour on the phone. I called and when I was finally able to speak to someone they said it had been overlooked and it would be paid within the next five days. They sent an email to me confirming that it was sent and then I received a letter in the mail saying my request was canceled without any explanation. They have messed up my escrow account, and now I can't reach them via phone or email. They don't have knowledgeable people working for them, and their customer service is horrible.
I'd say don't use Loancare but you won't be given a choice. They'll buy your mortgage and you'll quickly discover there's a lot of Loan but very little Care with this company. When they bought us from Ditech, they sent a letter saying the autodraft we had with Ditech would not transfer. We would need to send a check for our first payment then set up a new autodraft. My mortgage was recently transferred to LoanCare. The first payment I made 45 days ago has not been applied to my loan balance. The second payment I made was not posted correctly. The additional principle payment included was not applied to my account. I tried calling two times and was on hold for over 45 minutes and gave up.
