Had a mortgage with them for 2 years. They never paid property taxes on time-and NEVER paid property tax on one land lot on my mortgage. They refunded my entire escrow balance and 4 months later, said that it was in the negative because they had to pay property taxes from a zero balance escrow account, but never notified me of the problem to offer me the ability to send the money to replenish the escrow or adjust the payments accordingly. I was very sad to hear my mortgage company change to Loancare. Their customer service is downright awful. I often have to call multiple times to get a clear answer on questions about property tax payment, surplus on my escrow account and any other questions I may have about my loan. They also act as a collections company which highlights the lackluster effort on behalf of agents to find a solution to the most basic questions. This is the worst mortgage company that I've worked with. Do yourself a favor, do not do business with them. My account is screwed up and I've accrues late fees via their phone teller feature. They stated that I gave incorrect information that they did not corroborate and when I asked for the records, they refused to furnish them. I wish I had checked when it was transferred to this company. I would not recommend them. I am refinancing with another company to ensure that I don't have to do business with them in the future.
If I could leave a 0 I would. My loan was transferred to LoanCare and I was told that my automatic payments would not continue and that I would need to arrange payments. So I made a payment with bill pay through my bank. 10 days later, LoanCare took out another payment. I didn't find out about this until after business hours on a Friday. Only gave 1 star because that's as low as I can go. Loan Care bought out our Mortgage from our original lender in July of 2019. I received a letter in June of 2019 from our original lender telling us that we will be paying the new mortgage company and wait for a bill in the mail from them as it will contain all account information. Come July 22nd, never received anything from the new company and had to call the old lender to find out who the new mortgage company was. I work for a mortgage broker, and tons of our clients loans are being transferred to Loancare. They have absolutely terrible customer service I get hung up on pretty much everytime I call because they do not want to deal with the problem at hand.. They send out faxes that do NOT come through legible, payoff department never sends the payoffs like they say they are going to do we have almost lost several locks on out clients loans because of this.. The worst customer service I have ever had. My loan got sold to them in August and they are saying they didn't receive my August payment which was made electronically. First customer service rep says to email payment dispute department a bank statement for proof of payment and I will get a reply email with case number. I do this and get no reply email. This is a sick company. I can't believe the way they do business. Who runs this company - it can't be an American. My original mortgage was sold to them without my OK and now I'm stuck. All they do is send warning messages but don't help the customers at all setting up payments. They must hire uneducated part time help. The conversations with the help are not helpful at all. I am surprised they're still in business.
This is the most horrible mortgage service I have ever had. My loan was transferred to them, so I have no choice but to refinance to get rid of them. The bank transferred all of my escrow info to them and they neglected to pay my mid year taxes.
