I have been fighting with them for months to get them to credit my April payment to my mortgage. I have sent them proof of electronic payment from my bank and a copy of my bank statement and every time I send them documentation they say they need something different. They're still refusing to accept the proof of payment that I have sent them and still have not credited my payment. I have had nothing but problems since they bought my mortgage a couple of years ago. This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with.
I wish this company had not been given my mortgage. In 12 years of never having a late payment, they have single handed ruined my credit. I wasn't notified when they took over so I had no idea where to send a payment to. My old mortgage company gave me an address to mail a payment in. Since I didn't get any account info, I put my original account number on the check. They applied it to someone else's account. Loancare purchased my loan in August and payment was sent in immediately. My original lender sent a letter stating that it had been purchased and where to send payment. I sent payment to address loancare stated in letter. Loancare then proceeded to place my funds on my 2nd properties account with them instead of correct loan account then issued a 30 days late on credit bureau lowering my FICO score by over a *** points. They can't be trusted in my opinion they do r stand by their word and they won't work with you to solve issues they just blame you. They owe us for overdraft fees and refusing to pay up.
WORST COMPANY EVER. It is a shame that the lienholder on my home chose LoanCare to service the loan. And they are also regretting it. I have read the other horror stories here. WOW!! This company has had many, many errors on my loan and escrow account in the 12 years we have been with them. Right now, just had an inquiry from my homeowner's insurance asking for payment. They absolutely suck they barely got my insurance paid on time and now my land taxes are delinquent I have been making calls for the last month and I still have not got it taken care of so now I have to go pay my land tax tomorrow myself
My mortgage was sold to Loancare, so being associated with them is most definitely not by choice. Since taking over from my last mortgage company, they decided they want me to add up to the 20% the law allows for me to carry as padding in my escrow account. Since my last mortgage company didn't require this it has caused my escrow to go up significantly. Not the hit I was looking for with less than a month for my son to be born. Terrible firm. Quicken Loans sold my mortgae to LoanCare even though only two years remain. Worst firm on the planet. Setup login on my Macbook which rmembers all logins. No longer can login. Customer-no-service is nonexistent. If you have a choice, do NOT do business with this firm.
My ******* mortgage loan was sold to Loancare a month before I refinanced. I was told to cancel my September payment to them as quicken was sending out a payoff to reassume the loan per the refinance. Loancare in turn submitted a missed payment to my credit bureaus dropping my fico score 40 points.
