This company should read the new 2017 federal law on mailing social security numbers in ordinary mail. This is a complete violation of people's rights.! With identify fraud increasingingly an issue why are they doing this? They should be fined for every single piece of mail sent with every customer's social security number on it. You can't even get to s real person within using a part of your social security number. This is ridiculous!
July 16, 2019, Loancare did an on-site inspection of my property. House destroyed by fire in February 2015 (not a typo) and the Loancare is wrongfully withholding construction funds, so house isn't rebuilt. Several weeks later they charged ****** in force-placed lender's homeowner's insurance. Loancare *knew* no home was on the lot to insure (confirmed pictures were taken during visit), but didn't stop them from charging an outrageous amount for homeowner's insurance. I just refinanced to another bank thank g_d.. Loancare was supposed to send me my remaining escrow of *** After not receiving it, I called and was told they can't reissue a check until 30 days has past. SO I wait the 30 days, and was told by a "manager" that they would overnight me the check since the first one was lost.. Low and behold, it was NOT overnighted and I call again only to be told that they don't do that and the check was mailed out regular mail last Friday... I have never missed a payment with my previous mortgage company until it was switched to Loancare. Now I'm ALWAYS having trouble logging into their website and the auto draft feature never seems to work either.
They try twice to collect payments, and when you use the online payment system and you edit a payment (such as to move it to a different day or pay a different amount) the system does not recognize this and therefore you are charged more than what you wanted (or are able) to pay. Also, there is someone who works in the call center who is quite rude.
Customer service is Garbage. How can a company get away with crap service like this!!!???
I have been fighting with them for months to get them to credit my April payment to my mortgage. I have sent them proof of electronic payment from my bank and a copy of my bank statement and every time I send them documentation they say they need something different. They're still refusing to accept the proof of payment that I have sent them and still have not credited my payment. I have had nothing but problems since they bought my mortgage a couple of years ago. This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with.
I wish this company had not been given my mortgage. In 12 years of never having a late payment, they have single handed ruined my credit. I wasn't notified when they took over so I had no idea where to send a payment to. My old mortgage company gave me an address to mail a payment in. Loancare purchased my loan in August and payment was sent in immediately. My original lender sent a letter stating that it had been purchased and where to send payment. I sent payment to address loancare stated in letter. Loancare then proceeded to place my funds on my 2nd properties account with them instead of correct loan account then issued a 30 days late on credit bureau lowering my FICO score by over a *** points.
