Just spent 3 hours to get someone by phone. My mortgage was just taken over and I didn't get a bill for this month's installment, I was told that something must have happened with their computer (they had all my data, so nothing can go wrong with a computer unless someone wanted it to go wrong). This company is absolutely terrible. They copied some other person's mortgage information over mine and it took them over TWO MONTHS to resolve and it's STILL got the wrong information in certain places. And getting even that much done cost me hours and hours on the phone (much of which was spent on hold) to date, I've had to call them more then 20 times, send them a letter and multiple "emails" through their site and even involve my original bank. LoanCare bought my mortgage and failed to notify me. When they buy out your mortgage and fail to notify you, file complaints with the ***** the Attorney General and the **** Keep filing complaints with organizations to inundate them with complaints so they have to respond. Maybe someday they'll get their act together and start doing business the right way.
I too wish that I could give it a negative star. My loan was purchased, and hazard insurance is paid from an escrow account. I received a threatening letter (dated one week before it was postmarked!) stating that the insurance had lapsed, and Loancare was going to buy new insurance at possibly much higher premiums! My insurance agent sent the proof of insurance, and I uploaded it as well to make sure they had it. This company could care less about you. My mortgage was sold to them and they have been holding insurance funds and refuse to have an inspection done to release the funds. They are scammers and do not deserve to be in business. I may have to re finance in order to get rid of them. Horrible company.
Would give 0 stars if could. In early August, LoanCare made a $1,000 [+] property tax payment from my escrow monies on the day of my closing [which they knew about] for a rental condo in NJ. They could not explain why. After having the local township confirm the payment and having then returned the payment to Core Logic [facilitates property tax payments for Loan Care], Loan Care did not provide any explanation as to why my escrow monies couldn't be sent to me. I live in ****** City were we had hurricane Michael. I have been trying to repair my property for the past several months. They are slow to pay and slow to disperse for funds. When asked to be contacted by a manager they say 24 to 48 hrs. I never received a call back. they have horrible ******** service. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They don't care about anything thing but how to make a dollar. Horrible, horrible people.
I agree with ****** B, if I could leave a zero star rating I would!!! I work for a title company and LoanCare, LLC is awful at returning payoffs. We request them in a timely manor and get nothing in return for weeks/months, and when we do it is for the wrong property. Customers/Clients get made at us because they think that we are not doing or jobs when in reality we are on the phone for about 1-2 hours A DAY with LoanCare begging them for payoffs. How is it earthly possible to be on hold for over 3 hours, without reaching anyone? Is there no pride in the quality of service you provide? This is quite telling in how a company values its customers.
