The servicing of my mortgage loan was transferred from *****to LoanCare, LLC. I have contacted LoanCare over 10 times the past month, but they still have not fixed my payment history and the due date of my next payment. This mortgage company is a NIGHTMARE! Once they bought out my loan, I received a notification in the mail of an escrow shortage so I paid the shortage in full so I wouldn't have to pay a higher payment. Instead of applying the payment to escrow, they applied it as an over payment to my monthly payment and I received a notification in the mail that I was two months late on my payments. Worst mortgage company ever! They are trying to raise my house note almost **** a month! I just bought this house not even a year ago and supposedly there's nothing I can do about it. They said it's "a projected analysis" but the payment increase isn't "projected"! They made my first time home buyer experience a nightmare. I purchased a new home and the loan was sold to them. Not long after they sold the loan again. I was advised that they would not except payments after ******* so I didn't think anything about my Autopayments. I look and they pulled my payment out on ******* I argue with the woman who tells me I need to provide proof the funds were available. I told her they got the payment which is proof. This company treated my mortgage like a ********** and not like a ** yr commitment I signed up with through another company and by the spitefulness of the Devil, they are now servicing. I was told it would take ** DAYS to update that my mtg was paidoff but is sure did take them 90 SECONDS to report a late payment among other ****. If your mtg ends up here, do yourself a favor and sell the place.
Bottom line is this company sucks!!! Their system is not user friendly, and it's hard to decipher what your current account status is. It seems to be set up to ensure that your payment is late, you incur late fees, and your account goes into collections unless you enroll in automatic drafts. Their electronic notification system is completely useless, because it only notifies you when you process a payment which is redundant. The absolute worst mortgage company ever. Thinking of getting a refinance just to get away from them.
I send my payment through my bank each month and yesterday I got a letter from Loancare saying my mortgage increased because they found a billing error. My mortgage payment was already in process to be paid today and it is due tomorrow. Loancare did not give me ample time to submit the increased amount and did not include a detailed letter as to what happened to make my payment increase. I've been trying to get a payoff for my ****** Loan for two days...crickets...also the email they gave me to request is not valid...I requested online and have not received a response. I'll be so glad when I cut ties with *********************** ********* is a far better company to deal with.
