I updated my auto-draft payment info, but the payment didn't go through. So I want to dispute the late fee I am being charged (because this was a system error, not my error) BUT after several attempts to reach them over the phone, I have been unsuccessful in speaking to anyone because... The extensive menu process takes forever before giving you the option to speak with a representative. Loancare is a joke. I got behind one month on a payment and was working with their hardship department. I asked if I could just put that payment at the end of my loan because I have been able to make all other payments to them since. Their idea of helping was to give me a new loan with a 1% higher interest rate than I have now and then put the payment at the end of that. How is this helping anyone that needs help with their loan? It is a complete scam!

On Monday, March 19, 2018 I called Loancare to set up automatic draft for my payments. I did this because I am unable to access their website. After being on hold for 38 minutes a woman picked up and said "Hello". I spoke and she promptly hung up! I've been forced to work with them before and got no better treatment. Their customer service is the most infuriating and pathetic I have ever seen. This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. They bought the mortgage for an investment property and were sending the bill to the property address (however no tenants ever saw a bill) and I had to contact them to ask about bills and to make a payment. They charged me a bunch of late fees (not my issue) and won't remove them and I refuse to pay for their mistakes. I currently have late charges / bad check fees associated with my loan number due to having the wrong bank account down on the online payment (forgot a number). This originally occurred on my February payment. This was my fault, as I did forget a number and I contacted loancare customer service about the issue. She told me that the issue was that I did not have a number in my bank account (to verify) and she told me that she would take care of it correcting it in my account and processing that months payment, which did end u... read more

My loan was moved to LoanCare for Servicing. Since that time it is apparent that they can't do their job. They showed on the statements that they took out the Taxes in December but still 1 day before the final day in March they still had not paid the taxes so we went and paid them ourselves so they would not ruin our credit score. Loancare (changing names soon?) is pretty bad. Their return call service suggested a wait time of less than 20 minutes. I was called back four hours later and in the evening (around 8pm I think though interesting someone might have worked that late in the call center, east coast?). Their fee structure is not clear and burdensome. I submitted a change to autodraft which cancels the current autodraft which caused a late payment. This forces you to make a one time payment which forces a fee as well. This is a rather regressive... read more

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I bought a house last year and First ********** was the mortgage holder. LoanCare LLC bought the loan out after the first month. I switched homeowners insurance companies and immediately sent the check back to LoanCare to go into my escrow. LoanCare started started sending me ******** a month payment was because of a shortage in the escrow. It took them 3 months to credit the money I sent to them back into my into my escrow. This is the worst mortgage company EVER. I have been calling everyday FOR A WHOLE MONTH to remind them to pay my property tax. Still no reply.....I've opened multiple tickets for a supervisor to call me back, still nothing. STAY AWAY!!!!
