This company became my loan company when my first loan sold my mortgage to them. I swapped over to Loancare's app and had been paying just fine for months. The absolute worst experience. Terrible service. Mismanagement of funds. Insurance checks held hostage. Do not do business with this company.
I rent out a house the tenant stopped paying rent I for a few months attempted several deals to get they guy out but I had to get a lawyer to get him out. $15000 later the dude was out and the house was a wreck. 12 dump runs with a 16 foot dump trailer and you could see the yard again. I fell behind on the mortgage payments but I borrowed some money to get current but that didn't stop loan care from sending people out that broke in cleared out the house and garage of all my tools and equipment and locked me out of my house. ... read more
LoanCare sent me a letter about a month ago with instructions on how to set up a mortgage payment. I went on their app, created a payment for my first installment, then set up the auto pay draft so that it would come out every month on the 1st, when the amount was due.This past Friday, May 1st, the LoanCare bank withdrew 2 months worth of mortgage payments. Bought my house in 2024 with a Flagstar, was sold out immediately to loan care. Never been so confused and mislead in my life, going to sell and get away from them.
Loan care is refusing to accept payment online, through the app, and rejected a ACH attempt over the phone, which will cause fees due to them repeatedly rejecting payment. Seems like a predatory money and property grab. Watch out for them.
Paid my mortgage twice on accident on more than one occasion due to employees not making me aware that my auto draft was the issue. And in efforts to recover my overpaid mortgage, I was consistently given the run around in hopes I would stop pursuing a refund in a timely manner. They only accept payments via checking/savings account, however as soon as you request a refund it has to be done via snail mail. I was enrolled in a trial payment plan for my mortgage and made my payment on March 31, 2026 at 11:30 PM Central Time. Because I am located in *****, this payment was made within my local timeframe.
