This company is a general contractors WORST nightmare!Im currently rebuilding a home that had a fire and caused over $165,000 in damages. State Farm Insurance was beyond wonderful and paid the claim very quickly. Of course the claim check was made to both the homeowner and Loandontcare. They are giving us the runaround on releasing funds for the rebuild. We are currently in over $40,000 deep into repairs and no funding from Loandontcare.The homeowner calls twice a day and has been for 2 weeks..every call is a different story... read more
No notice of loan transfer resulting in a late payment!Unbeknownst to me, my loan was transferred to LoanCare (a subservicer for Lakeview) from ********** who I had refinanced with.OCMBC received my mortgage payment for June and I setup auto-pay with them to ensure future payments were made on time. If there were anything less than one star, this joke of a business would get it. Twice I've had damage to my home. Twice I've literally had to fight them to get the money my insurance company expeditiously paid to have my home repaired. The first time the damaged happened, I had to live in a hotel for 85 days. I went through three contractors because no one is going to work for free. The most recent claim I've had to deal with them on was a roof replacement from hail damage. I did my part. Always get an attitude. Always. How dare you come at then with questions. You'll never get straight answer and it will always be your fault. It's insane. And so frustrating. Cause these guys are like two companies Lake view and Loan Care and you get different information from both. I would NEVER EVER recommend these people.
LoanCare calls demanding a return call after wasting the client's time.Refused to put payments that were not full payments into the primary account, instead placed them into a separate account then harassed the client demanding a full payment. They hope the client forgets about the secondary account.
As a first-time homebuyer, I have had a horrible experience with Lakeview Loan Servicing. Since my loan was transferred to them, they failed to pay my property taxes from the escrow account, which led to months of stress and my home being at risk of a tax sale. Despite repeated assurances that the taxes were paid, the city still shows a balance due, and interest continues to accrue. Nobody from this company ever calls or emails back (despite weekly attempts on my end). They overcharge me, claim they send me letters which never arrive, mess up my address despite having it for month, its the worst
I recently had to contact LoanCare to inquire about an issue with my mortgage. I was told to get help I would have to be late on my payment and incur a late charge ($56.00). I explained to the representative I was trying to be proactive and get a solution. I was told to visit the website at least four times and I explained that I did and that was why I was calling. After 32 years of building my credit to 800, I wake up this morning to see fall to 634. Loancare reported a delinquency of 30 days which is not possible. I have made every payment since I moved to my home in December. Rocket Mortgage plays a part in this too. Out of nowhere, they sold my loan to Loancare without consultation.
