I had a terrible experience with LoanCare. A temporary change in property tax rate issue increased my monthly payment without me ever being notified by LoanCare. Their excuse was "someone requested a cease and desist order" so they could not contact me. I Could never get the "case worker" to actually contact me about my mortgage. Loancare is a joke. I requested to be off forbearance back in october. paid all missed payments during forbearance in a lump sum (over **** . I have yet to receive a forbearance termination letter. Wasted 2 weeks of my time speaking to 10 different representatives and 2 managers to be told that letter can't be provided at this time and there is no estimated time for this documentation. Having to give this company one star is sickening but worth it to tell my story.. This is my first home. This has been the biggest nightmare of my life. I went through a loan modification last year due to COVID and applied for for the forbearance program. Once I was able to resume my mortgage payments (8 months later) I advised that I was ready to resume my payments and they said not to worry about a thing until they approve my loan modification which they did. On Nov of 2020 they send me the loan modification packet with a different interest rate and monthly payment then I had to go to get it notarized which I did and I sent the docs back the same day. Worst company I have ever worked with in my 30+ years of carrying mortgages. Cannot speak to a real person until waiting on hold listening to the same spiel for 1-2 hours at a time. They make promises and never carry through. As stated below, when I refinance this current mortgage I am stating it can never be sold to loancare or *** *** for that matter. Ellen *

I had a loan forbearance that ended up getting a loan modification. I had to call Loancare frequently because I was concerned about all the threatening late payment notices I continued to get. I was always told they have to send them due to shareholder agreements. Once the loan modification started in October 2021, I called a couple times a month to check on the process and make sure I wasn't late. Loan care reported me as missing a.payment in August of 2021 and I havent had loancare since 2016.. I have proof that I did pay my current mortgage company not only the monthly payment but an I trust only payment as well..And now I can't speak to a live person because I dint have an account with them and the recording says put in account number or ss number or you cannot go any further..so needless to say it didn't recognize my ss number because I haven't had them in years now..so tell me how can they report me for being lat... read more

Our mortgage was transferred to Loancare LLC on 1/1/2022. When we haven't received any letters or payment instructions from them by end of the first business week (1/7), and also could not register new account on their website, we proactively called them on the next business day (1/10/22). I spoke to a Kimberly out of Pennsylvania. Suffice to say that she was the most uninitiated and unprofessional call center agent I've ever encountered.
