My mortgage was sold to Loancare in November of 2020, after being with the original lender since 2005. This October of 2021, I found out on my escrow statement that my payment was increasing by almost QUADRUPLE my monthly payment. They had gone back and found delinquent taxes that I had from 2013 and 2015 and paid them, without bothering to contact me, and I now have an escrow shortage that they require me to pay over 12 months. This company is a joke and should be put under investigation. They intentionally under appraised my home so I could not get rid of my PMI, and continue to dodge important questions about the "appraisal" I was given. Easily the worst experience I have ever had with any business.

Absolutely terrible. Left on line forever only to be disconnected. In addition this company is holding my insurance settlement Check. I've waited over three years with no help to finally squeeze the little bit of money from my insurance company to make repairs on my house,. Now LOANCARE seems to think the check belongs to them. I'm going to contact my Congressman and the VA about this if i dont get something back positive. Ashamed how I am treated an honorable Military Veteran. Nathaniel ******

YOU CAN SEE WHY ONLY 1.5/5 ON THE BBB Absolutely NO WAY to EVER SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON!!!!LOANCARE? This company is the worst. For months I have been dealing with them misreporting information to the credit bureaus. I have disputed it with Loancare and I have disputed it with all 3 credit reporting agencies. Every time i call to check on my account they have misplaced at least one of my loan payments. I have to then have it sent to their "escalation" department and wait 3-5 days for a call back. Very bad experience.Very bad experience.Very bad experience. Automatic payment is set up but Errors on their website lowered my credit score.called the customer service and told me to wait and never solved the problem......will never use this company again.....

I am absolutely disgusted with Loan Care. How they have a 'B' rating with BBB, yet a 1.05 out of 5 stars rating for ******** service is unbelievable. I am a veteran who like many others, had to use my rights under the ***** Act for my ** mortgage with Loan Care. At the end of my forbearance I contacted Loan Care and they approved me for 3 monthly payments in a 'Trial Period Plan' before consideration for a loan modification. This company is the worst. For months I have been dealing with them misreporting information to the credit bureaus. I have disputed it with Loancare and I have disputed it with all 3 credit reporting agencies. The credit agencies just ask Loancare if the reported correctly and they say yes so nothing changes even though customer service tells me that I have no late payments! Loancare is impossible to communicate with. Good luck if you need service beyond what is provided by their automated phone system. Countless times I have called their offices and worked my way through the teleprompts searching for the option to speak to a representative - and countless times the call was disconnected once I reached that point. I've worked with mortgage companies for over 30 years and have never experiences the lack of responsiveness I find with this company.

Laoncare will adjust payment dates to cause a late fee. You should find a better loan processing agency.
