This company should not be in business their service is horrendous, misleading and they do not apologize for their actions. I recently paid down my mortgage to meet the loan to value, escrow removed and PMI was not claiming that the LTV had not been met? Yet in order to qualify to have the escrow removed one must be below LTV well that is what they said. Therefore how can I qualify for one but not the other! This has been going on for 3-4. I am now being asked to pay a fee for a BPO to do an evaluation? Yet my Loan to value ... read more

I deferred my payment during covid. Like a lot of people I saw my workload cut in half. The bank is now telling me that they took out a loan for my missed payments and I am to pay back that loan with interest. Essentially making me pay that portion of my loan twice with interest. I was never told about this supposed loan they took out for me and was never told to sign anything, or that this would be how they would handle things. I sent an email to the site that their rep keeps sending out and nothing a month later. This all ... read more

My wife and I are going into our 8th year with this company managing one of our home loans. We have a second property in which the owner carries the loan, however we pay Loan Care monthly fees to manage payments. It's been a challenge. EVERY year I have to contact Loan Care to submit payment to our insurance provider. The insurance provider mails Loan Care an invoice and I personally upload the invoice and send it to Loan Care electronically. Each year, we receive correspondence from our insurance provider that a payment has... read more

This company is unorganized and unethical. We put our home in forbearance in March, we've been trying to get it take out for 3 months now. The company has suppose to have sent us paperwork over a month ago, we just had to call AGAIN to get that paper work sent out. They had us unpaid for February, we provided proof and still has taken over a month to correct on their end. They are YET to even send the packet we've supposedly been waiting on to be taken off forbearance. We are unable to make a payment until they fix whatever ... read more

I have never made a late mortgage payment and each month I get harassing phone calls about payments being made in the grace period. We have always made our payment within the grace period since buying our home. The phone calls need to stop. They call at hours throughout the day. Customer service is not helpful.
Business response:

I had a mortgage with this company for 2 years and my account was always in good standing and NEVER late. When COVID restrictions caused my employment and income to drop I applied for their COVID MORTGAGE RELIEF PROGRAM - which I qualified for because, again, I WAS NEVER LATE OR DELINQUENT ON MY MORTGAGE LOAN. They assured me that my account and credit would not be negatively impacted and that they would continue to report my account as ON TIME AND IN GOOD STANDING during the process since I was in good standing at the time ... read more

This company took over my **** mortgage servicing in 2020 and it's been an utter nightmare. Payments have been lost, misapplied, etc. It is next to impossible to get anyone from LoanCare on the phone or able to actually help IF they do answer the phone. To add insult to injury, when you call LoanCare, you listen to very threatening outgoing messages about collections and past due payments. It appalls me that **** would partner with such a shifty servicer. I will be moving my mortgage very soon away from **** and LoanCare and... read more

If I could give a lower rating, I would. My mortgage was unfortunately sold to this company in mid-April of this year, with my 1st payment due to them on 01 June 2021. This was done with no issue. For the following month, they had raised my expected payment to almost **** more than my usual mortgage cost, citing an escrow deficit as the reason. I requested an escrow dispersal, which was approved for 24 months, but the mortgage payment amount did not change. I called them all through the month of June to get this resolved, an... read more
