Biggest mistake I ever made. I want to refinance with another company. I had to postpone a payment due to Covid and I did everything they said to do. After the one month I was able to go right back to work and make my payments. They told me to pay *** more each month to catch up which I did. Every day I was getting threatening letters stating I was behind on my mortgage and subject to foreclosure. Hello, I have been with Loancare for the good part of 7+ years. Due to the covid crisis, my tenant was unable to make their rental payments and I entered into a forbearance back in the summer of 2020. This was a 6 month forbearance in which we entered into a loan modification agreement in November of 2020. Papers we signed, notarized and received by loancare. One of the absolute worst companies I have ever dealt with. Navigating both their phone tree and their website is a nightmare. I had to keep emailing them requests to call me. When they finally did, the customer service reps were not unkind, but definitely sounded exasperated with having to deal with a customer that challenges their explanation because it doesn't make sense. I am completely disappointed in this company. The communication is lacking and they fail to complete any task or request in a timely manner. They wait until the day of closing on a refinance loan to send documentation. This does not show any consideration for their consumers who are trying to better their situation. I fail to understand why this company is still around.

Not honoring Mortgage Assistance from the affordable cares act!! After fighting with Loancare for 6 months, they finally approved our mortgage assistance application. They gave us our new interest rate with payment amount and said they would send us the paperwork. We followed up and they said the paperwork would be sent out 5/28 and take 10 business days. Was with LoanCare for 2 years, I did a loan refinance with Pedro the first year and it went well. ***** did what he was supposed to do and we went with Loan care with no hiccups. This year due to the interest rates falling I called to do a refinance because Our taxes were going to hit this year. Michael ***** unfortunately took my call. Took from 02/20 to file a loan release until 06/21 by loan care which was a violation of the *** ********** **** Should have been filed within 40 days No words in any language could describe the attitude of the customer service Dept . We filed complaints with the **** ******** in Virginia, *** ******* & wrote to ********** ******* Banking Dept .... AVOID LOAN @ ALL COSTS
