If I could do No stars I would. This company bought our loan in May 2020. So far they have paid the wrong property taxes, paid the right ones but to the wrong county, had to pay them again plus over **** in fees and fines, and then they did their "escrow projection" using the fact that they paid our taxes twice and suddenly we owe more then **** more for our payment. Loan Care LLC is a loan servicing company that is chosen by the lender or company that holds your mortgage. Due to this very fact, their customer is the mortgage company NOT the mortgage holder. As such, when you have any questions regarding your loan - that is a LAST priority for them (remember, you are not their customer). You cant find information on their website, they don't answer the phone and leave you with extensive hold times. Not sure how they could get a satisfactory rating from the BBB.

My escrow check was supposedly mailed out March 29th. My husband contacted them April 19th and was told they mailed it out, but since we didn't get that check they'd void it out and issue a new one. I called them April 29th and was told they hadn't mailed it because they have to wait a month so they were mailing it that day. Called them back may 6th or so and was told it went out May 4th. My husband called them may 11th and was told it went out may 10th?! Why does it take a month and a half to get a check? Is it pony express... read more

what a joke of a company .. the worst ever .. i have made a few payments of $k to $ k over my monthly payment amount to reduce my principle amount .. when ( loancare / ******** ) received my payment they would take out another full months payment amount for the next month and pay it ahead of time , instead of putting the full amount to principle for the month i paid ... all without my knowledge or consent . had to call them a few times to reverse it .. now their online statements are completely gobbled up and cant understand... read more

This company is HORRIBLE. My loan just had servicing transferred to another lender, upon reporting that transfer, the company also reported my current status as 120 days delinquent. I am currently in Cares Act Forbearance and the mortgage WAS current at the time of entering forbearance. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a mortgage servicer. Getting someone on the phone that knows what the heck they are doing is a joke. I submitted a ticket, they close the ticket without ever contacting me because they wanted ... read more

It's been months since this disaster of mortgage servicer took over my mortgages. Their website and phone tree is as useless as their customer service (if you can even get a person on the line) I have had to make payments over the phone of which they fail to post and hit me with late fees.. God awful doesn't even begin to describe Loan Care. It is my opinion that they are as shady as common criminals out to destroy peoples finances and investments for their own personal gain.

This company is the WORST....they have posted my payments incorrectly since March 2021 and have yet to correct it...I am on the phone with these people almost every day to try and get some form of correction.... NEVER use them....

I've been with LoanCare for about 7 years now. I was recently ruled 100% disability from my military service. This enables me to receive 100% property tax exemption in my home state. I had an nice amount of excess in my Escrow account and have been waiting almost two months to get a check cut. Every time I call I get the runaround. They even sent a check for a lesser payment for a separate mistake that I caught. That check has been received but still not the other check. The absolute worst company to have to deal with when dealing with insurance claims, check endorsement, etc. they have drug my claim out for months now because the documents they say they need, are not sufficient, then they say they need a different document, which I provide, then another. Absolutely ridiculous! They hold your money hostage like some kind of power grab. When I finally get done with this claim, I will be refinancing my home for the mere fact I have to never deal with them again. Terrible business model and lac... read more
