what a joke of a company .. the worst ever .. i have made a few payments of $k to $ k over my monthly payment amount to reduce my principle amount .. when ( loancare / ******** ) received my payment they would take out another full months payment amount for the next month and pay it ahead of time , instead of putting the full amount to principle for the month i paid ... all without my knowledge or consent . had to call them a few times to reverse it .. now their online statements are completely gobbled up and cant understand... read more

This company is HORRIBLE. My loan just had servicing transferred to another lender, upon reporting that transfer, the company also reported my current status as 120 days delinquent. I am currently in Cares Act Forbearance and the mortgage WAS current at the time of entering forbearance. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a mortgage servicer. It's been months since this disaster of mortgage servicer took over my mortgages. Their website and phone tree is as useless as their customer service (if you can even get a person on the line) I have had to make payments over the phone of which they fail to post and hit me with late fees.. God awful doesn't even begin to describe Loan Care. It is my opinion that they are as shady as common criminals out to destroy peoples finances and investments for their own personal gain.

This company is the WORST....they have posted my payments incorrectly since March 2021 and have yet to correct it...I am on the phone with these people almost every day to try and get some form of correction.... NEVER use them....

I've been with LoanCare for about 7 years now. I was recently ruled 100% disability from my military service. This enables me to receive 100% property tax exemption in my home state. I had an nice amount of excess in my Escrow account and have been waiting almost two months to get a check cut. Every time I call I get the runaround. They even sent a check for a lesser payment for a separate mistake that I caught. That check has been received but still not the other check. The absolute worst company to have to deal with when dealing with insurance claims, check endorsement, etc. they have drug my claim out for months now because the documents they say they need, are not sufficient, then they say they need a different document, which I provide, then another. Absolutely ridiculous! They hold your money hostage like some kind of power grab. We sent a same day wire with the payoff of our house on 05/5/2021 and until today 05/11/2021 they have not found the wire nor the email with the ticket number that loan care sent to us. We have spoken with several employees and supervisors but none has any information, we requested to speak with a higher supervisor but they always busy. I asked if we are going to pay more interest since "THEY HAVE NOT FOUND THE WIRE NOR THE EMAIL WITH THE TICKET NUMBER BUT THE CAN'T ANSWER THAT). Service link was supposed to have wired my previous mortgage company the payoff on my home which I refinanced just by accident whenever I was checking to see when I would receive my leftover escrow from my old mortgage company I discovered that they had not been paid I contacted immediately and they assured me that they had sent the money in addition sent me a copy of a proof of wire however when I contacted the old mortgage company they assured me they had not received any payment from anyone I was only about four days from... read more

on the 1st of the month I check my account to see if my mortgage payment had been processed yet (it wasn't) I waited till Monday the 3rd and seen that It still was not taken out, I set up a payment to be made on the 3rd. I then got double charged. Loan Care told me that they would have to mail me a check. That check is going to take a month to get to my home, so there is no point of getting the payment back.
