We refinanced our home in May 2020. We are now waiting to close on our new home on 10/9/20. We found yesterday that LoanCare NEVER filed our release of lien with our county. I have called no less than 8 times. Different answers. Promises to get calls back that never happen. We have zero control over this. Our buyers have flown in from California to purchase our home. I paid off my mortgage on August 10th, and I am waiting for the lien release/mortgage satisfaction to be recorded in the county. I have been on the phone with LoanCare for over a week with no assistance or urgency. We are waiting to close on our house and have been delayed due to this document not arriving at the county office. They have notes that it was sent to the county office on September 20th but the county has yet to receive and documentation, and it has filed all lien releases. I would give them 0 stars! I pay my mortgage every month but I get a *** late payment if I don't pay it by the 1st of the month! This is ridiculous! It should not be considered late if they are getting the money within the same month! Not only is the late fee *** but it is *** to pay online, *** to pay over the phone and *** to pay through a Customer Service Rep!! We haven't been late on our mortgage payment in 25 yrs. We have ******** + in equity in our home and over 800 + credit scores, but, this lousy company still hasn't dropped our PMI's. They are supposed to automatically fall off after 5 yrs. They don't respond to email and phone wait time is ..... they never pick up

LoanCare had one job: to take the money from my escrow account and give it to our homeowner's insurance company. They failed to do this multiple times and tried to impose their own insurance on us when THEIR failure to pay my insurer threatened our continuity of coverage. LoanCare was unresponsive to customer support requests and screwed up the one thing a mortgage servicer needs to do. I refinanced partially to get away from them, and waiving escrow gave me peace of mind that LoanCare taught me I needed.

This has been the worst experience dealing with this company. My husband and I have been in trying to get them to completed a payoff ,that has been requested to be sent to our lender in order to sell our home . Loancare is the worse morgage servicer that we've had. They have ways of charging additional charges even if is before the due date, calling them OTHER FEES. when you go on line to make a payment if you dont pay it on the first your account is stating LATE. I paid mine on the 5th, I was charged ****** Can you imagine charging thousand of consumers ****** If you pay it after the 5th. Is a charge of ******* I mailed out my morgage payment.
