LoanCare had one job: to take the money from my escrow account and give it to our homeowner's insurance company. They failed to do this multiple times and tried to impose their own insurance on us when THEIR failure to pay my insurer threatened our continuity of coverage. LoanCare was unresponsive to customer support requests and screwed up the one thing a mortgage servicer needs to do. I refinanced partially to get away from them, and waiving escrow gave me peace of mind that LoanCare taught me I needed.

This has been the worst experience dealing with this company. My husband and I have been in trying to get them to completed a payoff ,that has been requested to be sent to our lender in order to sell our home . Loancare is the worse morgage servicer that we've had. They have ways of charging additional charges even if is before the due date, calling them OTHER FEES. when you go on line to make a payment if you dont pay it on the first your account is stating LATE. No customer service. God forbid you ever call and expect any help from them or questions answered. Sad for a customer to see how many issues this company has had with the law. ************* over charging in late fees class action lawsuit filled in July of 2020 violations they have had and the list goes on. This is a HORRIBLE mortgage company with TERRIBLE customer service. Especially their Loss Draft (Insurance Claims) Dept. I have sent all possible documents they have requested and even more, Submitted the endorsed check to them in the begining of March 2020. Its now Sept 2020 and still have not received the last part of the check to pay my Roof Contractors. We paid off our mortgage on May 5 and the lien release/satisfaction of mortgage has not been filed yet (as of September 8). Customer service agents give different answers; sometimes with back to back phone calls in the same day. We are currently well beyond the 120 day window they said they have to file the release. This company is not very easy to work with. When you call the customer service number you have to go through an automated system for a minimum of 8 minutes in order to talk to someone. When you do talk to a person they can never resolve your issue immediately. They will transfer you to another division in the company. That division will then transfer you again. Apparently my loan account number was changed with no notification. My auto-pay continued to send the mortgage payment for the old account. I realized it after two months that my payment was not being applied. I can't even begin to write how many calls I made, how many times an agent told me to hold and then disconnected the phone - I would have to start all over again.
