Reported me 60 days late to the credit agency the month after our loan was paid off and then said they didn't do it. We have never been late and they verified that we have never been late but won't fix the mistake. We are in process of buying a new house and if they don't fix by closing it will fall through. Refinance if you can!
Loancare does not care! I started requesting a payoff statement in early July via telephone, FAX and email. I sold my house on August 14 and could not get a payoff quote or statement from Loancare in time to close. I had to add **** to the payoff and hope it covered the daily interest. Unbelievably incompetent company!! I have been a closer for many years and have never encountered a lender that would not provide a payoff. I rate them at minus zero.
I started my refinance with LoanCare in May 2020 and now it is middle of August 2020. The beginning stages was pretty quick. We provided all necessary documents. After my file was transferred to a processor, it fell off the grid! This processor didn't return any of my calls or emails. No update communication what so ever. LOANCARE, LLC is the WORST. I'm considering speaking with my Attorney General. Last summer LOANCARE deposited someone else's mortgage payments in my account!!!! I called to ask why my payment was only $140 in July, 2019, and they said I had overpaid. (which I never do) I kept paying my regular amount after that and three months later they said I was in default on my mortgage and would be in foreclosure because I was short (the incorrect deposit they made for 3 months was less than my monthly payment.) **** and their subsidiary LOANCARE barely score one star! It has taken HOURS and 3 call to try to correct their files. I am still not finished since their computer systems do not correctly reflect my payments correctly. I am now instructed to send xxxx xx ******* electronic payment confirmations to paymentresearch at loancare.com. Their automated and human postings will be corrected, after more than a total of three hours of calls and and communication.

Trying to finish up a refinance. Company gave the mortgage lenders I'm dealing with the runaround for three weeks promising to have the payoff statement delivered within 24 hours. After my new lender contacting them repeatedly for three weeks they finally informed them that they would only give the payoff statement to the customer. I have tried for three days to talk to a representative. I even left a call back number like I was instructed but nobody ever returned my call. After trying different menu numbers I was finally able to get a real person. Unbelievable how bad a company this is! I wish I could have selected 0 stars. My loan was transferred to them as I was in the process of selling my home. My last payment to my previous mortgage holder was sent from one mortgage company to the other via FedEx but never credited to my account. Like everyone else, I gave Loancare one star because a lower rating is not an option. I hate Loancare. This is the single worst company in any industry that I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. That is not hyperbole.
