My mortgage was transferred to LoanCare, LLC ("NewRez" or New Residential), and they will not let me register my account for my new loan number. Both the website and the mobile app report "Invalid social security number". It's not invalid, nor is it being entered wrong. This is either fat-fingering important loan information via data entry, or crappy error messaging to "handle" influx of issues they can't be bothered to fix (or dare I say, test their systems for). I gave this outfit a 1 star because zero was not an option. I refi-ed with this company because they took over a loan I had maintained for over 20 yrs. Because the previous loan was in my-ex's + my name, when it came time to settle the leftover escrow, they kept sending me a check in both our names. This company is terrible. I got switched over by ****** in June and it's been nothing but a complete incompetent hassle and their part. They lost my first 2 payment, eventually found they we placed in two other accounts not even close to my payment amount either. This took 4 phone calls and twice faxing info to 2 different places - they of course could not find or did nothing with this faxed info. I hit a really bad medical hardship in 2019 leaving me with maybe 60% of my income. I reached out to LOANCARE for assistance and was turned down from every angel. There were so rude at times that its ridiculous (and all of the call are supposed to be recorded). It got to the point that I had to get assistance from a Law Firm. This company is the worst!! They bought my loan from RP Funding. I have been working with an attorney on a Loan modification. I have been denied several times by Loancare because they said I had a Loan Mod in Sept of 2018. They said there is paperwork with my signature and it is notarized but they can't seem to find the signed paperwork to prove I had the loan modification. They never paid my property taxes last year. I have emailed them several times and I have called them several times, and no one knows why they were not paid. I am extremely frustrated at this point. I may have to take them to small claims court just to get my taxes paid. This company is extremely unprofessional. I would give them 0 stars if that was even an option.

Worst mortgage servicer ever! I payed my monthly bill for March, they applied it to principal only. 15 days later they charge me $65 late fee. Because of additional $65 I have to pay, my autopay from my bank paying my regular amount (without $65 penalty) I'm short $65. Next thing I know I get certified mail of foreclosure, my credit gets delinquent record. Called them 3 times at 1-1/2 hours each time, costumer service is worthless. All they can do is to put in a request. ******!

My loan was transferred from my original settlement loan provider. This has been a nightmare since loancare has my loan. My homeowner's insurance was escrowed into my mortgage payment, when loancare got the loan it was somehow knocked off which caused my insurance to cancel. No one takes the blame for it.
