The company sucks for customer service and they do not follow federal rules and regulations for credit reporting during a loan transfer. My loan was transferred on 04/02/2020 to loancare from nationstar DBA mr cooper and they did credit reporting that affected my credit score.

Loancare are a bunch of crooks! During this unprecedented time of pandemic loancare is not offering anything to help their customers except a forbearance. The forbearance does nothing except set you up for foreclosure! It says you do not have to pay anything for up to 6 months but then at the end of that time ALL PAYMENTS COME DUE! How are you supposed to pay 6 months worth of mortgage payments all at once if you have been out of work for those 6 months? They are not offering deferments only forbearance which is not helpful ... read more

At first I thought they were great. We did all of our modification requirements in January. We have been waiting since January for paperwork and everytime you call they want to blame someone else for the job not being complete. Yet while all this is going on, my check is still being garnished and the money is being sent but yet no one can figure out why my paperwork has not been finished. I inquired about refinancing my mortgage loan with Lakeview Loan Servicing because they serviced my loan and representative Ed ****** guaranteed me Lakeview looks out for their customers and charges very minimally to refinance. He quoted me $222,600 to refinance to a conventional loan. When he gave me a quote I told him my home value, based on comps in my area, was at $380,000. Clunky web based services. Terrible customer support. They have increased my fixed APR payments on my home TWICE!! Both times in error, once I finally got them to investigate. Absolute worst mortgage serviced that I have ever dealt with.

Loancare is the worst mortgage company I've ever had. I've been in my home for 16 years and I've never (with any other company) had an escrow shortage. Not only that they really don't care that the nation is under attack with this virus.....they want there money! Once this Pandemic is over, I'm going to refinance so that I can have my loan with another company. Loancare by far is the worse and I've had four in the last 16 years.

I am truly surprised this company holds an "A" with BBB. I have been nothing but irritated and disappointed since Loancare took over my loan. I tried calling them 3 times and emailed them last night about a deferment option. I am currently out of work due to COVID-19. Any federally backed bank is offering a deferment on their mortgage for at least 3-6 months. Loancare is only offering a forbearance option. My previous mortgage service company sold my mortgage to Loan Care. I am supposed to make my first payment April 1st but did not receive my welcome package till March 31.
