I inquired about refinancing my mortgage loan with Lakeview Loan Servicing because they serviced my loan and representative Ed ****** guaranteed me Lakeview looks out for their customers and charges very minimally to refinance. He quoted me $222,600 to refinance to a conventional loan. When he gave me a quote I told him my home value, based on comps in my area, was at $380,000. Clunky web based services. Terrible customer support. They have increased my fixed APR payments on my home TWICE!! Both times in error, once I finally got them to investigate. Absolute worst mortgage serviced that I have ever dealt with.

Loancare is the worst mortgage company I've ever had. I've been in my home for 16 years and I've never (with any other company) had an escrow shortage. Not only that they really don't care that the nation is under attack with this virus.....they want there money! Once this Pandemic is over, I'm going to refinance so that I can have my loan with another company. Loancare by far is the worse and I've had four in the last 16 years.

I am truly surprised this company holds an "A" with BBB. I have been nothing but irritated and disappointed since Loancare took over my loan. I tried calling them 3 times and emailed them last night about a deferment option. I am currently out of work due to COVID-19. Any federally backed bank is offering a deferment on their mortgage for at least 3-6 months. Loancare is only offering a forbearance option. My previous mortgage service company sold my mortgage to Loan Care. I am supposed to make my first payment April 1st but did not receive my welcome package till March 31. I have been trying every day to establish my new account on their miserable website. Their site does not recognize me or the loan number on their paperwork. This company, also known as Lakeview Loan Servicing, is awful. I didn't choose this company but they bought my loan. In these unprecedented times of layoffs due to the Coronavirus, rather than offering loan deferment for people who are out of work they are offering a forbearance for up to 6 months BUT IS ALL DUE AT THE END OF THE FORBEARANCE. This company cares only for the money they get, and whatever it takes, they forget about laws and everything it includes . You have taken , held ,and lied to everyone. Using a poor resource system and a out dated auto made system, all of your customers pay more than they should. My mortgage was purchased by LoanCare recently and the nightmare has already begun. They gave an incorrect account number and notified me after I sent payment. Now they say I am delinquent. My bank says they received payment. They do not answer calls. If you request a call back you get a return call that is a recording telling you to call the number which they never answer.
