I have been trying to get an escrow issue resolved since October 2019 and as of today still getting the run around. Long hold times and incompetent service reps. Have sent them info by e-mail, fax, and hard copy by mail. Gave them a name and phone number to contact at the city assessor's office and they told me they had reached out to them so I call the city assessor's office and they said no one has called them. My mortgage was sold to LoanCare and I could not be more disappointed. Trying to getting a hold of a customer service rep is a nightmare and when I have gotten to speak to a person there were not very knowledgeable which meant more hold time. They have told me things that contradict my previous lenders in regards to re-amortization and mortgage insurance; for example claiming I could not get my mortgage insurance dropped for a minimum of 2-4 years because of the law. Consistently making mistakes on my escrow and then I have to take the time to fix it, because they are too incompetent. Even my insurance company says they have had numerous issues with their clients who are also with LoanCare.

Most unprofessional lending institution I have ever dealt with in 40 years of buying and selling properties. Our loan was sold to LoanCare without our knowledge or consent. I'm guessing other lending institutions that sell existing loans to LoanCare must get some sort of kickback from LoanCare. It took us two years to recover an incorrect tax bill electronic withdrawal by LoanCare when we had already paid the property taxes directly. Worse lender ever. Not a customer service oriented company. My mortgage was sold to them, will be looking to refinance as soon as possible!
If I could give less than one star I would. We have had them as our loan service since ours was sold off to them 3 years ago. Always pay on time. In October my husband lost his job and we got two payment behind. They sent a very deceiving letter saying they were "here to help" with options. I call to get into these programs promptly and all of a sudden they aren't offered to me or unavailable at this time. So they are definitely not "here to help"
Terrible company. Impossible to get a competent associate on the phone. My mortgage payment has increased hundreds of dollars over the past few months even though interest and principal balance has decreased. When trying to explain this to any agents they sound unsure, misquote interest rates, confuse my mortgage with ARM vs fixed, review another loan instead of mine, quote wrong payment information and ask that I submit requests for call back via a link on website. Worst lending institution ever dealt with. It only took a month or so to for me to refi to another lending institution (after ******* sold the note to LoanCare). Too many issues to state here, no customer service, sent (4) inquiries (email) of which none were returned, stated they could not stop ACH payment withdrawals (I had to do a stop pay when switching lenders), customer service deliberately hung up on me as the "transferred me to another representative" (happened 2 times).
