Worst company. They failed to pay a semi-annual county tax bill. It took me four months of countless calls for them to finally pay the county via my escrow. However the final bill that they paid included the large late penalty fees. Loan Care then applied those late fees to the following year's escrow bill, resulting in hundreds of dollars increase in my monthly mortgage. I HATE LoanCare. They are THE WORST company I have had to deal with. A freaking nightmare! My loan was sold to them in August and I was not given clear information on the transfer. I sent payment to my old service EARLY! Called both places two weeks later and nobody had seen the check. I made a payment online thinking it lost and the a holes processed the check the day I called and processed the additional online payment. Just got off the phone with a service rep from Loancare . The call cuts in and out like a cell phone as they returned my call to them on record. She sounded very unsure and nervous! I hung up !
This company should read the new 2017 federal law on mailing social security numbers in ordinary mail. This is a complete violation of people's rights.! With identify fraud increasingingly an issue why are they doing this? They should be fined for every single piece of mail sent with every customer's social security number on it. You can't even get to s real person within using a part of your social security number. This is ridiculous!
July 16, 2019, Loancare did an on-site inspection of my property. House destroyed by fire in February 2015 (not a typo) and the Loancare is wrongfully withholding construction funds, so house isn't rebuilt. Several weeks later they charged ****** in force-placed lender's homeowner's insurance. Loancare *knew* no home was on the lot to insure (confirmed pictures were taken during visit), but didn't stop them from charging an outrageous amount for homeowner's insurance. I just refinanced to another bank thank g_d.. Loancare was supposed to send me my remaining escrow of *** After not receiving it, I called and was told they can't reissue a check until 30 days has past. SO I wait the 30 days, and was told by a "manager" that they would overnight me the check since the first one was lost.. Low and behold, it was NOT overnighted and I call again only to be told that they don't do that and the check was mailed out regular mail last Friday... I have never missed a payment with my previous mortgage company until it was switched to Loancare. Now I'm ALWAYS having trouble logging into their website and the auto draft feature never seems to work either.
They try twice to collect payments, and when you use the online payment system and you edit a payment (such as to move it to a different day or pay a different amount) the system does not recognize this and therefore you are charged more than what you wanted (or are able) to pay. Also, there is someone who works in the call center who is quite rude.
Customer service is Garbage. How can a company get away with crap service like this!!!???
